I think one of the things that annoys me the most about this situation is that a lot of people seem to be ignoring a lot of what I've been saying:

-He doesn't hint things super far in advance. The longest was three weeks with most happening in the week and a half to two week range.

-He only reports on and hints first and second party games and that's almost exclusively where his interests lie. Further more, they're always tied to Directs and things he's interested in.

-I've technically known him since last November so I'm not some dumb schlub that easily misindentifies people. I know his first and last name, where he lives, and at least half a dozen of his social media accounts. I may joke that I'm an old man but people seem to think I'm senile or something.

Still, we just have to wait to see what all this produces.

Not just Geno fans, but everyone was saying "Geno Mii Costume is coming" even before we knew who the actual SE Rep was.

Now that it hasn't, people are finding ways to keep us down. "Well Chococbo Hat didn't return either, so its no surprise." or "Its coming later".

The goal post keeps getting moved for Geno. We are not guaranteed Geno as a fighter, but we can at least be considered now.

Even the music takedowns from Nintendo for Super Mario RPG are curious, as the timing is off. Namely, the same thing (music takedowns) happened to Banjo-Kazooie tracks in October-Novemberish and he'll be dropping in Fall (roughly 10-11 months out from those takedowns). To me, that would indicate plans outside of this pass but I'm just speculating.

Something I thought of is... maybe Sakurai doesn't want to release the Geno outfit yet, despite the possibility that he isn't in the plans right now. Maybe he really wants to get him in this time, so as he tries to work that out, he's holding back on re-releasing the costume.

Honestly looking at that thread on resetera it pretty much seemed like several people who have written off Geno’s chances of being playable circlejerking how impossible it is and then someone posted what sabi said in discord without the context that Sabi is legally on thin ice to **** on the whole starling hint and make you look like a liar. Some people still really don’t want to believe Geno has any chance whatsoever to get in this game.

I gotta admit I wasnt a fan of that article because it acted like Geno fans want his Mii Costume. No, we want him playable. The costume is just to see if he’s done for good, or not.

It's crazy how many people still have the "spirits deconfirm" mindset, even though no actual evidence that proves that spirits deconfirm actually exists. Not to mention, trophies didn't deconfirm Mewtwo and Lucas in Smash 4. Both of their trophies even had different models.

It looked to me like ResetEra people were misconstruing information deliberately to adhere to their biases. When we have witnesses saying it's the same NoA source besides Sabi, it looks more like covering herself and, particularly, her source(s) after that C&D.

I only started liking Hero because of smash. I never had an interest in DQ, but now I do. I just pre-ordered the new DQ game for the switch (since it was discounted for $50). Now... where is Persona 5 Royal for the switch?! lol

That's true, but given they sprung the DLC on Sakurai in January 2018, quite a late point into development, they very well could have been planned aside from spirits. I'd say they're both likely possibilities and I wouldn't rule either one out.

I go to SmashFAQs (as I have no standards apparently) and immediately see two threads celebrating that the Mii costume wasn't shown, but they're celebrating because they think this means the costume isn't coming back and they HOPE Geno gets nothing in the end.

Geno is the new Ridley: the anti group has become far more vocal, obnoxious and obsessed with Geno than the fans.

Which has nothing to do with the point I was talking about with Spirits. As well as unrelated entirely? I was talking about Fighter's Pass stuff only.

Whether or not it was planned for base game, the Spirits would've been removed either way. It was either moved to DLC or going to be that from the start, and when related Spirits were put in separately by his staff, they removed them.
