Kyu: Factor in that Armada is up there in the top 5 of the world, period, and yeah.

One of my problems during those recorded friendlies and the ones we played later is that it took me forever to get over my nervousness at playing against THE ARMADA, you know? Once I lightened up and started having more fun, I was working him down to 1 stock consistently. When you ALSO take into account how many CGs I would whiff each game (I need to get my CG game back again, it's really faded) then the real problem with me losing was not the matchup but ME. If I was a better player, I'd have been winning. It's honestly that simple, AFAIC.

Oh, and infinites. Those would have helped too ;P Not like he was letting me grab him that often but I got a couple.

You're up there too though.

I just think that you're much closer to Armada's level than other Peach players are to you. Against Armada you kept up with his spacing and you didn't seem to be overwhelmed by any part of his game, but it looked like his hits would go a lot further. When he went for a float, you could intercept him with a n-air or something, but if he managed to land a f-air Nana was invariably dead.

I tried to think of a way to summarize their character but then I was like baffled by how much stuff I had to consider that I was like, "Screw this."

so how do i freeze glitch consistently
for some reason i want to smack the snot out of a lv. 1 jiggs and though i can get it off on a lv. 1 falco i can't seem to do it on that **** puffball.
as far as i know it's handoff-> sideb > ???? > profit

The timing should be the same for Falco and Jiggs because f-throw is unaffected by weight. I could never figure out the timing (if there is a timing; I decided that it was random or had to do with how many times Nana decides to headbutt) but I think Wobbles mentioned it once so maybe he knows.

Maybe because the initial handoff is so unique and I learned it on her, Fox, Peach, Bowser, and Mario to learn the various extremes...

Oddly enough, I think my best bet against Peach is to CP Dreamland and go Sheik. Of course, I want to figure the match-up out with ICs, but I don't think I can do that when I only play it once every couple months. When I go to Irvine, I should be able to practice the match-up a lot more, though. Maybe I could also learn Peach dittos.

I'm kind of embarrassed about how badly I played yesterday. >_<

pivot its hard to see but its a pivot desync.

also pretty funny thing i found when i grab if i go to the jab cancel spot ( used for jab canceling) u can grab on the other side (could be used to start off grab with nana instead of popo).

also idk how you guys do your charge smashes in grabs but using z sucks so i use another way.

grab,jab, hold a, during popo lag of headbutt move c-stick, charge smash :D

i just grab, tap a, then input smash with joystick + a then hold a

also that desynch totally solved all my rolling problems =O, im never rolling again

Chival: Probably a fast dd considering it's Fly.

I charge smashes the same way as smakis, but I'll try that out. Sometimes after f-smash -> grab Nana is still in lag and it messes up my timing, maybe if you could use c-stick to buffer it would be easier or something.

Edit -- Everyone should start using stuff like pivot and dash backward + f-smash to desynch. dd is really good and all, but sometimes you don't want to go straight for blizzard. I've been messing around with dash backward -> A + Z which makes Popo dash grab and Nana charge a f-smash; I feel like it would be a funny spacing trick.

Nop thats a dd desync. Fly is the only one who throws them out that fast consistently though. Pretty much the fly desync. I try to encorporate it but I never do it in tight situations like he does. I just do it when it doesnt matter if I **** up.

I think neutral game desyncing is largely overrated. THe simple ones like the DD and the ones that wobbles recently came up with are where its at.

I was testing raptor boost vs IC's shield again, and I could shieldgrab Falcon every single time... I don't know if I was doing something wrong before, or if I'm doing something wrong now, but for some reason if I delay the grab, it never misses (even when my shield is fresh)...

For grab/charge smashes I do a headbutt then input the smash with the C-stick while switching to claw to put my index finger on A. It's not nearly as hard as it sounds.

Charge smashes = headbutt>direction+A during headbutt lag. -__-
Doesnt get easier than that...

I usually charge smashes the way PEEF just described. However, if I'm at the very edge of the stage and I want to charge fsmash, but I don't want to risk having Nana run off, I use C+Z.
