Hey, sorry to disturb but I've a question :

How ( if possible ) can we choose the direction where Nana throws the opponent when she grabs?

Thanks.

I need to get auto cancel UpAir down.
It takes work, but I'm convinced the best way to do it is by jamming and holding up on the control stick right as you short hop (during the jump frames, so that hitting up doesn't cause you to double jump). This way, you're already holding up, and you only have to press A to uair.

Practice, practice, practice.

Yes, c-sticking auto-canceled uairs is one way. I just feel like my thumb will slip from time to time, and my aim is to be 100% consistent. Maybe it's just me.

Popping and locking butt naked.
I was practicing it a few ways

Using Cstick to jump out of shield and then Z and Analog stick to Upair.

Using Analog stick to jump and Cstick to Upair.

Using Y to jump (thats what I use) and using Analog stick and Z to Upair (does not require me to move my thumb).

I used to practice doing sh u-airs and shff b-airs out of wavedash with momentum, and sh u-air out of a dash. It didn't really take that long to get down, and it definitely payed off.

Yeah I am getting there too, but I want perfection, for now I settle for doing it out of shield knowing I will do a full hop, but just do it onto a platform to minimize the window to punish me.

For now this will do, but I am going to keep practicing it.

I dunno about zerg being the ICs equivalent but eh, IMO zerg are severely underpowered and if I didn't find them so much cooler than the other races I would play Terran, you have to be so beyond better than your opponents to win with them in higher brackets that it sometimes isn't fun. Anyways enough crying from me, I would be happy to help the swarm by teaching you some cool build orders to get through the lower leagues and give you some tips to play better in the higher leagues too.

Is there any reason to use down tilt ever (excluding Wobbling)?
I use it all the time, it pops them up in the air if they aren't crouching around 40-50% just enough to grab them in the air, dash attack, nair, dair, and bair.

also at higher % if they CC it knocks them down so u can trip them and wait for them since u can't tech it.

You can use it to punish missed techs in place of d-smash, because it pops your opponent up and sometimes leads into a grab. B-air -> dash attack is a really good combo on spacies, but after a certain percentage b-air starts to knock them down. You can still follow it up by dashing towards them and d-smashing if they miss the tech, or you can d-tilt -> grab. The downside of d-tilt is that it doesn't have a lot of stun, and I'm not sure if you can follow it up when they DI away.

Some people use d-tilt as an edgeguard (against Ganon, Falcon, Fox...) I don't think it's too effective, but sometimes it might lead into grab or d-smash where d-smash by itself could have been teched.

I've also found opportunities to use d-tilt in the middle of combos. For example, if you sh u-air Falco and he lands right in front of you or something, you can d-tilt -> grab instead of just going for grab. I'm not sure if there are any situations where it's more than extra damage/flashiness, though.

Hey guys, I just won a small TX tourney and I've got vids from it. No Darkrain or Sliq attendance sadly, and I never played DoH in the bracket so I'm lacking vids from those three, but you can watch me beat up some Fox, Falco, Marth and Falcon (:

Matches take forever to upload with my crummy internet though so it'll be awhile before they're all up.

I never thought I'd see the day when real life over took smash, but that is happening, so I will be making for less appearances at at all the awesome places where the cool people hang out.

Don't cry for me Argentina.

But yeah, I probably won't be attending tournaments anytime soon.

You can jab -> turn around desynch d-smash. The input is something like jab, smash away on the control stick and down on the c-stick simultaneously. Popo should d-smash and Nana should dash away.

Well, the reason I want to desynch is getting an instant dashgrab, like in the hitstun, making brutal close pressure that can only be (hard) spotdodged or rolled from= allways punish with good reaction lol.
Even with ftilt or downtilt it would be insanely good.
I guess that it needs a dd to get a desynch in that situation, which there's no time for.

Can try getting that down and se if there can be anything close to as useful as this deathjab would be.

The only way I see of doing that is if only one of the ICs' jabs connects, For example, if Popo's jab connects and Nana's doesn't, then I think Popo's jab should last slightly longer than Nana's, in which case if you input some command right before Popo's IASA frames kick in, only Nana should act on it. The timing would be really strict and hitting with only one jab would be very difficult.

what if instead u had nanas hit only after like a wavedash jab, and urs wiffs and hers doesnt cuz she is behind afterall on the timing
