CB: Nah, we're not doing a theater mode. I think it's one of those things that's really great for the super hardcore but unfortunately, with the timeframe, with all the features we have, it's one of those things that's going to slip through the cracks unfortunately.

1UP: Can you still take photos like in Gears 2?

CB: I don't think we have that right now. It's a funny thing; those are features that are very cool, and you look at the numbers, and a very small percentage of gamers user them. It's nice to have if you can get it in there; it's just that the reality right now is that it's probably not going to happen.

After watching one of the multiplayer videos, I'm really hoping they don't make this game too noob friendly. Apparently, it detects if the player is unfamiliar with the gears series and gives their weapons a damage boost until they start getting kills....rage

Im pretty sure thats for campaign only, or at least I hope it is. lol

Btw im playing gears2 right now if anyone wants to play i'll be on for like an hour only though.

Turns out if you've never played Gears 1 or 2 it gives you double health and damage for your 1st 10 kills online.

What a bad feature.

Source(s) please? That..reminds me of death streaks in MW2. I fail to see how newbies to the series should get any boost for not playing the previous games in the series.

But yeah, they mentioned it in the new multiplayer trailer, just look it up on youtube. At least it's only 10 kills, but that doesn't mean it won't be obnoxious lmao. I hope they don't destroy wallbouncing in this game....

Wow, that's the worst idea ever. Good thing I"ll mostly be playing campaign and horde. I suck at the multiplayer anyway. And since I have played the first 2 Gears games, I'll do even worse against the deathstreak guys.

I love how I can go months without playing GoW2 and yet still own face when I randomly play for an hour or two...

I really can't wait for GoW3.

I have some bad news guys, you won't get rewarded for unlocking achievements in Epic Game's other games. But you will for Gears of War 1 and 2.

There is a beta of it in this new game called Bulletstorm.
I believe it will be good due to the fact EA and Epic worked together.

Wallbouncing should be back because the developers are the best.
They let us take advantage of the game and they let us love it. They don't care how we abuse the mechanics.
Also, double barreled will be silly. The reload is amazingly slow. Its like twice as slow as a mortar reload. The only redeeming quality is that you can body multiple people at a time. The Gnasher will still dominate because the double barreled has no range, as far as I can tell from the gameplay that I have seen.

Yeah you have to be literally point blank for it to one shot. A little further and it will down.
