At this point I'm fully convinced someone up in that development team is a fan of Starcraft. There's so much Starcraft influence across these games, and with the Nydus Worms showing up I'm just absolutely sure now.

10-15 waves is rubbish roach.

Also Beast mode looks awesome. Hopefully they don't make the multi-player dreadful like in GoW 2 though.

You got to fight one in Gears of War 1, it's a shame you didn't in Gears of War 2. Beast mode has me pretty excited because I've always wanted to control the locust and kill the COGs.

Didn't you kill him at the end of Gears of War 1? Man, that part was pretty difficulty IMO, cause my AI Dom kept on getting downed!

But anyways, he's like the best boss ever. Much better than the lambent brumak that you fight at the end of Gears 2. General RAM was like the best part of Gears 1.

I wish I could see a lambent version of him this game >_>

I'm sure one of them is bound to live. Didn't TRG or someone say that there are 2 more left? I would like to see one of them live by the end of Gears of War 3 tbh. I always play as Carmine in Gears 1 and 2's multi-player.

I'm starting to question if Carmine will make it into the campaign or not. You don't start out with him in your squad like you do in GoW2. Maybe he'll make some sort of epic appearance.

But he's guaranteed to be in the multiplayer of course.

I always use carmine in multiplayer. I use him because I like using a character with the full COG armor on including the helmet for some reason. The bigger characters are easier to hit when you're playing online anyways.

Why was Carmine so popular with the players anyway? He lasted for all of one chapter before getting shot in the head, but he was still loved enough to the point that it baffled the developers and they brought in his brother in the next game just for that. Not that I don't like him myself, of course.

As weird as this sounds, we as gamers associate ourselves with the characters that we play as. A lot of people like Carmine because he's probably the most human out of everyone else on the Delta Squad. Almost everyone can relate to him. That and the fact that his full body armor + helmet looks bad***.

I'm personally liking this new Jace Stratton character. Not only is he black (like me), he cares about people more than the war, which is exactly how I would be in his situation.

The only reason why I love Carmine right next to Cole and Marcus is BECAUSE he got shot in the head. I mean, that is so fail, that you just have to love it <3

Also, I prefer the no helmet look. The helmet looks plain silly imo

i started playing GoW online and started out as carmine and would pull these awesome head shots with no scope from across Gridlock and Tyro train station so I kept playing with him and he became my favorite

Lmao, this whole carmine thing is hilarious. You know, at first, I felt really bad for the carmine brothers because they seemed so defenseless and kind. I wish that they had lived. I immediately thought that the GoW3 carmine would be the same, but now he's some huge buff guy. I say we kill him!
