I now that, and I told myself that. I have to, and I want to, because thats what Im gonna have to offer to play Ganon.
And thanks for the help, I't really helped ^^
The weird thing is that it actaully quit worked for me getting in with Gerudo. Mostly because the opponents spamming game wa maybe just not that good. Its more the Zair that ***** me.

I realized the above doesn't apply if the opponent has a horizontal Dragon Punch.

Which Falco Phantasm is.

Plus, it's unpunishable when spaced on block (if the instant aerial version is used).

:\

So yeah. Falco can spam all day.

The only answer to his side-B is (interrupting, of course, or) actually using ftilt toward his destination. You'll trade; he'll hit you, but he'll collide with your ftilt box when he comes out of invincibility. He should be knocked behind you, though.

It does look really nooby, though. Good Falcos may avoid using it 'cause they don't like Phantasm for that. But Pro Falcos will loop around in their reasoning and realize it works.

To deal with ZAir, try using it yourself, is all I can say. For one, a novice can't use it effectively. You need to look for if their technique is off, first. If it's not 'off', then they're consistently doing it in certain ways, and this way still has a gap. That gap is, basically, that ZAir is a hell of a lot slower on startup than it looks. Also, if a ZAir collides with something, the character has landing lag. You should be able to get into Ganon's dtilt reach, and deny another ZAir from there with rolling behind.

If they come in with ZAir, I haven't found anything better than just accepting it (full shield) and reading their next move. Anyone else?

Very acceptable. I'm so pleased to be amongst other ganondorfs. I want to continue to improve my ganondorf and show people that you can still play like a man and win.

Unless Ganon gets a projectile, he'll always and forever be played in a manly way.

Ganon overflows manliness. He could at least throw his manliness at others on a purple hadouken shaped projectile.

What would Ganon be like (in a competitive sense, not a manliness sense) if he had Tornado instead of Warlock Punch?

He'd benefit the most out of anyone... it would refresh his moves, it would likely replace his recovery, it would give him a good approach/punish, and it would still be manly if it was replaced with a fierce purple gale instead of that gay yellow sword texture.

Also, FoG to tornado for surprise buttsecks star KOs.

This is literally the story of my life here. After I dabbed in the Melee metagame before this game came out and saw how manly the scene was, I took it upon myself to duplicate the epic manliness here. Magus' Melee Ganon is stupidly, unbelievably manly, anyone who hasn't seen it should see it immediately.

Sadly, I fail at winning tournament matches and that makes me :(

^^I'd rather have a frame 2 jab than a Tornado. Tornado's nice and all, but it doesn't help the fact that Ganon gets ***** hardcore if anyone gets close to him.

And I realized that Falco Phantasm is not a Dragon Punch, and this is a despicable error. What matters is it has invincibility, and for Ganon at least, it's hard to interrupt on reaction. But it's not a DP because it isn't invincible frame 1.

A Hadouken...

attached to his neutral A.

He'd poke people, and he'd get a hadouken with the range of like... Hibiki. So, Luigi's Fireball.

And it wouldn't even have to be a projectile. They could fit it in the normal lag time for his A. He could have hitlag when it connects and it'd be a disjointed box.

Seriously. Ganon has always had a projectile. Fireballs bats, highly reflectable energy beams, a return-to-sender trident, phantom horseriders, what am I missing?

I think his evil gaze and/or laugh would count as a projectile, as well.

Let's not forget about his abillity to fly/float.

Ganon is the epitome of manly.
-Has a sword, but doesn't use it. Too good for that.
-Purple stuff comes out of his attacks, color of royalty.
-Uses his elbow.
-Stomps on you.

/poor attempt at humor

I like seeing other ganons play a lot more than playing ganon myself, though. Dunno why. Ganon too good for his own dark magic tbqh.

You know you're a true Ganondorf main when you pick your mains in other fighters based on how alike they are to Ganondorf.

My main in SSF4 is Ryu. I alt Zangief, T. Hawk, Gouken, and Juri.

But I don't main Ganondorf in Brawl, so I guess my secondaries in SSF4 (Gief and Hawk) are analogous to me 2nding Ganon in Brawl? =P

Ryu is totally like Mario though, my actual main. I mean they throw fireballs, have a tornado attack, and a reversal Dragon Punch option.

Although my secondary in SSIV bears no likeness to any other character I use (Vega), my main does. And I just realized, technically he doesn't look the most like Ganon (Akuma does), but he's similar in nature. M(other****ing). Bison.

Then in BlazBlue, it's Tager. Virtua Fighter doesn't really have anyone like the 'Dorf, so I just use Akira/Lau/Wolf.

I'm just addicted to the 'Dorf.

I play Raphael in Soul Series and plan to main Jin in Continuum Shift.

So... pretty boys with anti-social M.O.s who think they are The ****, and take what they want accordingly.

Pretty much the same.
I guess Ganon's top-grade pedicures manicures make him a pretty boy?

Thing is, if I had played Street Fighter IV, I would have mained Gouken. He's similar only in that he's phat.

THEN AGAIN, my second really wanted to be Gen, although I doubt extremely I'd ever have been able to use him in anything like a competitive fashion if I didn't main him. You need that MK -> Hands combo to be a threat.

Hmm... so I guess then, maybe, if it would have turned out that I would drop Gouken and switch to Gen, if in fact I had played the game, then this works out.
Gen's pretty boy feature is obviously the beard.

Gen's got a top tier beard, we have to give him that, right?

*~*~*~

For reference, the manliest character in Calibur is Rock Adams, who not only could I never play, but is my nemesis. Except Raphael is actually his nemesis, competitively speaking. You can keep Rock out with one move, and timing mixups. GG.

I could not see myself using Zangief, and I absolutely could never use Tager in BB, even though watching matches with him is heart-throbbing.

EDIT: When you think about it, Tager is a Street Fighter character in a world with beyond-Street-Fighter physics. Everyone else has an air jump and an air dash. Bang has two.
... but at that, Tager doesn't have a kara throw, or a forward dash.

He has what makes Zangief high tier despite lol matchups: Good normals, command throw FTW, and hella life bar.

I forgot one thing, and it's really important!

I don't pick characters similar to Ganon though. Number one rule is: If the characters have leitmotifs, choose the ****** leitmotif.

I am playing Jin just because of the music. I don't have to hear it in the ditto, I don't have to hear Noel's music, and I get to listen to "Under Heaven Destruction" when playing Ragna. Those are seriously the reasons.

If I had played Guilty Gear, I would main Baiken. ^_^

Ah, I forgot all about Soul Calibur. Anyone could guess in the current line of reasoning that none other than the mighty Astaroth could be manipulated by these very hands. *glazed, spellbound stare at hands*

I main Polimar in Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, but he's not similar to Ganon at all. Well, at least he has no projectile.

I second Tekkaman, which is Sluggish, but can deal good damage with just a few hits. :p

Just bought my shades. Now I can look at other's controllers without being noticed. :]

Ganon is the only manly character I main in fighting games.

Guilty Gear I main Jun and I-No.
TvsC, Morrigan and Chun-Li.
SF4, Cammy and Bison. Play Blanka as well, but I suck with him... =/
BlazBlue, Taokaka and Arakune.

I'm not really a fan of other fighting games. The whole joystick movement and charging up so that you can use specials is really a turnoff for me. I have Street Fighter IV, but I almost never won a game online although I knew the basics pretty well. I have to know, though, what are games like Blazblue and TvC like compared to SF4? Are the controls similar in that setup?

My Street Fighter main was Rufus, and I seconded Dan. Both characters were way too hilarious for me to not use them competitively.
