Wow... Now I play Bowser a little bit (very little, admittedly. Only in friendlies.), and he's a bad character, but 2nd to worse? What?
Also, Mr. Eh's post was pretty awesome.
Personally, I think Bowser should be near the top of low tiers. His jab, fortress, aerial grab, grab releases, and good killing options along with his weight make him better than a large portion of the other low tiers.
That being said, I think low tiers need to be redone. I don't think Link or Zelda (especially Link) are SO bad as to be 2nd and 3rd worst, although I admit that I'm not really sure who should be. Yoshi also seems too high to me (His shield wrecks an otherwise decent character.), as is CF (Ally is amazing with him, but I attribute that moreso to the player than the character.).
No, Link definitely IS that bad.
You think he has better strengths than he really does. There is next to no reward for using him. It's all a clown show to use the items and sword to not get
curbstomped. Ooh, if you're lucky, you get a bounce combo that leads into... an Fsmash to ledge guard? Or a freeze glitch you have to "capitalize on timely"
(read: don't screw up any bomb shenanigans to max this out, scrub).
And he *cannot* beat MK without unusual stage features.
Zelda can climb a lot. She's way better than a character that can't kill, can't hurt, and can't hit anything.
Actually, Puff is probably still better than her, so that says where Zelda's garb starts.
It's Ganon, Link, Falcon -> next tier is Samus, probably Bowser, then maybe other garb characters, and Zelda, then Puff. Then the actual bottom tier (not lolling), then low tier. EDIT: No, wait, switch Samus and Falcon, and put them both in Ganon tier.
