I believe this was shown earlier in the thread, And yeah it looks neat but i would prefer a move set over haul than just adding range and effects everywhere. It honestly looked kinda broken
NO, this person has nerfed many of Ganon's attacks, the projectiles tho, gotta go. If this was, I have yet to see it, in fact I'm pretty sure no has posted in this thread. This has magic, fists, and a sword. In fact, this new addition is closer to how Ganon plays in his boss fights.

In the first Zelda, he throws numerous projectiles at you, in LTtP, he throws his trident flames and what not at you, in OoT, well everyone knows OoT.In WW, we see his swordsmanship. In TP, he uses his hands and sword, magic from his horse, magic from Zelda's body and a sword. It is a compilation of all these.

I think Ganondorf should be revealed by May, there is a important day in May that demands Ganondorf, a day bigger than Christmas.

I'm pretty confident on seeing a good moveset this time, Sakurai has been doing a excellent job with redoing movesets, like he did with Bowser and possiblygetting rid of Zelda's annoying transformation into Sheik in which I'm happy I won't have worry about accidently transforming into Sheik.

Also Namco, the guys who made DBZ Budakai Tenkaichi, my thought is if they can make King Cold using a sword work, they can make Ganondorf using a sword work.

Random thought I've been having is that maybe they'll reveal Ganondorf to coincide with revealing him in Hyrule Warriors... with a revamped move set? That'd be pretty sweet.

It never made sense to me that Ganondorf didn't have a projectile. In just about every fight you've ever faced him in he throws some sort of projectile!
All I care about is that he retains his power. I don't care if he has a sword or just punches and kicks or hits you with his big ass eyebrows.

Ganondorf arrives this June..

I found OoT 3d was released in June, so I found this to be a good guess, plus if say at E3 they a character reveal like the debut character reveal with Mario, Bowser, Megaman, WFT, and them, then we'll definitely see him then.

Hey, I just realized a cool use for Ganondorf.

Okay, so originally, I wanted Ganon to use a trident (you know, long range, capability of awesome moves, and magic use), but since it's most likely TP Ganon, it would be good if he used his sword if he's rebalanced.

So I fused the two ideas together:

Ganondorf moveset = Sheathed sword & Drawn sword alternating. Typically he would have it sheathed, but some attacks he draws it. When it's sheathed he uses it like a trident, but he'll also have sword moves at the same time.

So with Sheik now her own character, is Ganondorf next to complete the set of Zelda characters?

The fact that Falcon hasn't been revealed yet, is pretty scary. I'm more than positive Ganon is going to take on his own moveset, and hopefully Sakurai's design team does something about that ugly-ass get up they had him in from TP. Love his design in Melee, and would rather it go back there.

I don't think it's anything to worry about - Falcon and Ganondorf were both revealed post-release for Brawl.

The overhauls we've seen for characters make me more and more confident that Ganondorf is getting revamped.

Some of the changes:
Pit: New up, down and side specials. Some new standard attacks. This makes him reflect KI:U more. The Final Smash change is presumably because of Palutena (it does give the three sacred treasures a place to go as well)
Bowser and Yoshi: changes to their posture. Bowser gets some new moves as a result, and seems buffed. Possibly more significant changes to Yoshi that are yet to be seen.
Zelda & Sheik: They're separated, and get new down-B's, some significant changes. Sheik gets even more changes, seemingly replacing Chain.
Luigi: Gets Poltergust, reflecting his starring roles.
Donkey Kong: Finally gets a rolling dash attack, reflecting DKC.
Kirby: New Final Smash representing a recent game. Rocket hammer for some reason...
Peach: Gets some random new effects.
Olimar: Gets a new up special, although in this case I think balance/technical issues were more of a factor.
ZSS: Gets rocket boots... for some reason?

Given how many characters are getting new things, almost all of which better reflect their games, it's hard to think that Ganondorf won't get some significant changes. He might still have some similarity to Falcon, but he's gotta at least get a new special move or two. But I wouldn't be surprised if he got his sword or trident.

(My point was that it doesn't have any connection to the games.)

Also personally, I dislike the yellow heels space go-go dancer look.

I'm pretty confident Ganondorf's getting some new tricks this time around. Everyone else is.

Levetating recovery anyone?
For the longest time I've said Ganondorf should get a double jump like Peach's hover to reflect his OoT boss fight. It would be extremely appropriate and help his recovery tremendously.

Throw in some chargeable orbs of energy and a trident which reflects projectiles and I'd be a happy guy.

Oh I'd definitely assume that Sheik will have her own spot this time, as will Z.Suit Samus. It'd be pretty bizarre if they occupied the same spot but had nothing to do with each other in gameplay.

Sheik somewhat makes sense, but ZSS having her own spot will be a bit odd. Considering she and Samus are the same person. Then again, there was Dr. Mario and Mario in Melee...

Well-- consider that a lot of video games have multiple selectable versions of the same character, i.e. Ryu+Evil Ryu, Cole+Evil Cole... and other examples that aren't just evil versions of themselves, I'm sure.

I dunno. We'll get used to it. :p

If he does, hopefully it's something that the Ganon mains can scare people with.

I hope Ganon gets the best revamp out of all the characters, after what they did to him, going from Melee to Brawl. The immeasurable about of rage that flowed through my body.

Ganondorf's last real appearance was in 2006 in Twilight Princess.

I'm thinking he's likely to make a return in Zelda U.

Also, probably he'll be in Hyrule Warriors... I'm guessing if it comes out before E3 or Ganondorf is announced for it before E3, that's when we'll see him. Otherwise... probably E3.

Ganondorf needs a float like Peach or Mewtwo in PM since he does that in some of the games he's in including the part where he posses Zelda in TP.

It'd be cool if he can use some Ganon(and I mean Pig Ganon) as some of his moves. Can even rehash him to a form where he's in mid transformation to give him hand to hand combat moves as well as giant fist that form from pure strength. He'd be like Bayonetta in a sense where she can fight but also summon those things that she does, lol.

But that takes away that unique aspect from peach

I was legit fully serious. I want Ghirahim. Bad.
Ghirahim was in 1 game and somehow takes precedence over the main, recurring villain of the series? He was no even in the better Zelda games and not even a final boss. Honestly, people who want Ghirahim over ANY final bosses would be a slap in the franchise's face.

I don't know if Peach's float is her entire persona(legitimately don't know) but I feel she wouldn't be jipped if Ganon borrowed some.

I know Sakurai's creative but there is a limit to how many kind of things you can do for a person. I don't like the idea of Ganon with a sword. If he HAD to I'd limit it to 1 or 2 moves. I'd like to see more emphasis on power, might even give him some grandstanding aesthetics since he does that a lot.

Floating is peach's main thing since she's so air based and why not give a sword to ganondorff as well as his magic which would actually represent the games rather than him being a modified captain falcon
