when i say WINNING, i mean EVERYTHING it takes to win(tech skill, midgames, knowledge of %s and combos). I put all of that under winning because if you EVER hope to win, you need to do this stuff.

And the X is thrash(vs X) threads i just came up with. so far im doing ganon board and ike board. most likely, LINK will be next.

no no, your right. I come off arrogant for a reason. I dont care if i win or lose, i jut want to collect info about the match-ups. In real life im a normal guy, but on here ill be a **** head just so ill get ALL of the people(in thier specific boards) to play me.

and about the winning thing....just forget about it. i guess i cant explain it good. no worries.

Lol, you coulda just asked about the matchup... xD What you're doing might be even worse... You just come to a board and play random people... <_< They may be doing something bad that a good [Enter Character] player won't do, which gives a misconstrued position on the matchup...

Well, w/e... xD It's just worse for the other Samus players that way....

I don't think that what he's doing is bad at all, in fact, it's a fantastic strategy. Not only is it effective enough to get Ike/Ganon players to fight him, but he's also learning every nuance of that character against him as a person. What one might try on one Samus might fail against another. In the same way, Xyro is systematically finding out what to watch out for against his own Samus, and proceeding to win.

I can think of no better strategy.

You're just taking his side because you got THRASHED by him and don't want to look any more stupid... SHAME!

Llol, I'm obviously kidding, of course... =P I'm not like that...:p

But seriously, like I said, he's playing random people who aren't even probably the best players of the character... They might do something stupid, which screws up the view on the matchup... (I sound Llike a broken record... D: )

Yeah, beaten 5 times in a row. Close matches, thankfully, but close=/=win.

Yeah, the players might make mistakes. But if they make the mistake, he'll be able to identify what that player did incorrectly, and how it would have worked and ergo, how he would have reacted. Any match helps, really.

Llol! Settle down, man.... =P I told you I was only kidding about the matchups... I doubt I could have done any better... Plus, they were online, after all... I really don't take them nearly as serious....

But anyway... It's not even that the person might have done something wrong... It may have been something that he/she didn't do right....

For instance, Llet's pretend that someone didn't know that Pikachu has an 80% chaingrab, to death combo on Fox. The Fox player goes to the Pikachu boards, challenges them, and plays a few "n00bs"... They don't know about Pikachu's chaingrab on Fox, and they mostly get beaten. The Fox's player view would be that the rodent is a minor nuisance, when in actuality, he ***** Fox...

So yeah, kind of a drastic example, but you get the idea... :p

im the best samus out there(going by results) and i know what ALL characters SHOULD and SHOULDNT do. However, KNOWING and PLAYING are completly different. so the exapmle of me playing a pika or whatever will not work because i KNOW what they should be doing.

If you know what they should and shouldn't be doing, then why are you doing all of this? <_< Yeah, knowing and playing are completely different... But that's just it; You're doing this to give knowledge to other Samus players (I'm assuming)... In the end, you're just going to be writing down information for other people... So unless you personally play every other Samus main as every other character to show them..... It's just going to be knowledge in the end... lol...

So really, what IS the point of all this? o-o

Ah, that makes more sense then... You made it sound like you were doing this primarily for a matchup guide or something... Even though I don't see how playing random people online will help you advance that much at this point... o-o Llol.

Lv1 CPU? lol..

If the zair hits, Gdorf is screwed, (most of the times)
However It was more of a joke to represent Gdorfs poor Recovery..
Human reaction time is about 1 second.. zair comes out at 0,3 - 0,4 seconds..
So You must (guess) when to air dodge!

Samus Vs Gdorf (on stage) is a totally different story, I know.

Most characters can still recover after beeing hit with zair.. but it's hard for Gdrof!

Sorry for making you mad xD
1 second? thats actually very slow, thats like your average special ed students reaction time maybe, my ganon will crush samus, if only i didnt have dial up internet lolololol. no but seriously, live match, no wifi bs, because we all know spamming Zair on lagfi is alot easier than DODGING said Zair, so obviously the character with the longer range faster attack wins when there is lag.

yes, many times.

Ganon has to recovery from the below the stage or he will be punished, right? Knowing this, i just run off the stage and spike......

also, at times i wasnt sure what he woud do once he was off stage, so i ran off and zair him once or twice and then UP+B back to stage............just to make sure he lost all his jumps and momentum

However, ganons OVER B to jab is gross. u cant escape it
YAY! I knew the zair would **** Gdorfs recovery.. along with Samus's other attacks.
+ a little mindgames :p

*zairs Ganon mains in face*

Once again.. (a little less) than 1 sec.. :)

Xyro actually has a great idea to advance his character by playing a variety of players to give him a better understanding of matchups and so that he may spread the word. He isn't just selecting the worst players. His method REALLY makes people want to play him. This thread would have many less posts if he just came in and said, "does anybody want to play a samus main? FC?"

The only way to put a real end to the Ganon is TRASH vs Samus statement is to beat him in a majority of matches. So just accept that until that happens, Ganon IS trash vs Samus according to this thread.

Edit: When I get my Wii back, I will play you with my Ganon Xyro

I don't think you read all my posts afterward... -_-;; We already went through that... He already has a good understanding of matchup since he's (supossedly) the best Samus out there... And I'm sure he actually IS playing so me of the worst players by fighting with random people... xD

Anyway, you still missed the point of this thread... o_o This thread doesn't really "prove" anything... He is the top Samus player... He COULD just be better than the people he's fighting (ZOMG, CRAZY RITE?)... xD Although, he did play against one of the best Ganon players here, I guess... Samus could have an advantage against Ganondorf, but really that's nbot the point of this thread...

lol, you can barely own up to be the best samus in texas on samus boards... how do you figure? :/ most people say rohins or tudor.
people knew rohins from melee so they just asume hes amazing

Tudor has vids against ****ty people so it make shim look good.

Im the only one that PLAYS and BEATS good people. i also place very well when those people re in tournaments.

samus can be a good character and xyro is a good samus
Yes, and we know you do good in tournaments xyro...
god knows you make a post every single one on samus boards that you do good in.
but people don't like rohins JUST because he was in melee
or Tudor JUST because he made a vid... that would be idiotic. You assume eveywhere outside houston has like no skill level at all :(
