whats the point of a ladder, isnt it obvious that this is going to end into an "X" person doesnt deserve this spot I think "Y" is better.
+ this will make noobs think they're good if they beat someone on this ladder.
i might be wrong, but i find ladders pretty ********.

I don't think you're wrong, but I think think the point is to play competitive matches for fun with other people in a setting where you can improve you rank as you get better. Also it's online play so you can't take it that seriously. Besides what's the point of playing smash if you aren't playing for fun
