dude fb is straight azzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
nothing gives me lower self esteem
and everybody's on it, too
i hate it when people DO things for the sole purpose of posting pics/statuses about it on facebook
since deactivating my facebook i still get distracted by lots of other things (pokemon puzzle league, other things on computer [just recently decided to super commit to not jerkin it])
but i figure at least now it's all out in the open. previously all that unhappiness would have gone straight to my web browser, and dissolved in a haze of vaguely entertaining, ephemeral distractions. now that the noise is gone it's like, "wow, i can't believe all this was underneath."
don't have to keep up appearances for SH*T anymore, which is nice. i don't feel obligated to go here or there or keep up with the zillions of people i met thru fb groups for smash, climbing, slacklining, whatever
the onus is on me to figure out what i like and don't like, who i want to be, and what i want to do.
it's really scary, honestly. i *think* it's worth it though. i have to be a lot more disciplined; willpower, for the strength to carry through with the important things, and self control, to pass wasteful opportunities by.
my 2 cents ;]
can't wait to see yall
