DJ Jack, I never said anyone here is a failure, but instead that many of you are setting yourself up for failure when there are still things you can do about it.

I'm not saying these things because I hate you guys (that's simply a coincidence), but because I was your age once and made similar poor choices. I've said many times that some of you are in for a rude awakening, I'm saying now that it doesn't have to happen.

But let's be honest, it probably will.

I like DJ Jack, good kid.

Lol I wasn't speaking to DC in particular, Exdeath. I was just saying in general in case people had a misconstrued idea of what being in a state of success means.

It's not like genesis where the entire hotel is smashers. It's a block of rooms so other random people there too. I just want to get it finalized soon now that tickets are bought so i know how much money to set aside

I have a ****ty grocery store job as well. I had a ****ty Ice Cream store before that.

However, I've technically been employed through school for about 6 years. I'm 23, which means I started right after I turned 17.

My ****ty jobs are going to look a ****load better than your fancy jobs seeing that the only reason why I left the first job was because I moved away from Miami. Job sustainability is a lot more important than you think. I don't care for the attention, but I wanted to use myself as an example.
Employers look at a lot of things. How beneficial you are to their company revolves around a lot of things. Relativity to your degree is one of them, but how long you stayed with a company very important too. Employee turnover is very expensive to companies that matter, so they're not going to mess with anyone with a new job every month.
Presentation is also a lot of what gets you hired. How your resume is presented and what you bring to the table as a person matters most, including referrals from important people.

TBH, and this might sound stupid, but it's pretty much all about getting them to like you combining with showing them they would be better off with you than without you.

In my opinion, success is happiness. What is any number of figures or statuses in your life going to matter 10 years after your gone? What about 100? 1,000? What is anything going to matter outside of your city, country, outside of the World? Constantly looking outward makes you realize that all of that stuff doesn't matter. What does matter is how you see yourself and how you enjoy yourself as well as the people around you. If the happiest person in the world lives under a bridge, then in my eyes, they're the most successful person in the world.

I'd say networking and prior, relevant experience is more important that anything. You're not going to get a job with Google because you worked at Publix for 10 years straight.

Soz.

Shaky split first at a NLL with Seibrik once. He'd go there again.
