it seems MLK weekend is winning 
i really want wobbles to come to this. are you guys sure you want mlk weekend? also wobbles aka honorbound aka blind aka whatever the **** you go by now. if i do make the date a week b4 MLK weekend would you be able to come for sure or no?

Yeah I have never played sos before so that was a little over bearing when I played in a crew match right before I had to drive four hours home....just saying maybe I didn't give it my all cause at that point it seemed irrelevant.
But sos want to play some friendlies cause I want to win some locals over here and that would be some great practice.

I talked to rohins and he said he would talk to phanna and the rest of central florida to see if they wanted to come to this and lousiana is probably coming back...so I'm trying to get as many OOS people as possible
.Also, lets set a date and fast. I suggest MLK weekend ( I don't remember what I voted). That way more OOS people will want to go because it will be easier for them to travel.

And yeah, I still think MLK weekend is the most convenient for most people. If people are travelling to Texas from OoS (which we want, because we're all tired of playing each other), then it's much easier on them if they have a day off after the tourney. Otherwise, they probably have to plan to miss 2 days of their real life to come to this (whatever they have Friday and Monday). Of course, that's assuming they don't just fly in the morning of the tourney, and then fly out immediately after it has ended.

Sos, set the date for mlk weekend. Seriously, this will get the most attendants. Especially OOS people. And make a thread in the tournament section immediatly. Make the thread good so people will look at it. Good rules, prize layout, all that stuff. Post a list of people coming and keep it updated.

rofl if it sucks don't sign up for it. it took long because of the number of entrants. if there was really protesting about it people would have just not done it.
if there's 1 thing i learned about dallas it's that they leave without saying anything and rasta searches for them for 2 hours worried.
anywaysssss i will most likely come to this, assuming it is before i leave home for 2nd semester of school. either way, good luck with it, hope to see some cool cats there.

Also by this tourney I may look less emo, I am dying my hair either back to its natural color (if anyone remembers) or I am dying it blonde.
Well, its winning now and I remember at least 3 or 4 people accidentially voted or 12/13th. It's stupid not to make it MLK weekend. Don't you want more OOS people to come?

What if you just charged an entry fee this time instead of taking out of the pot. Then you guys/clif would get money and everyone else would be happy too...ehhh????

So Oklahoma's thinking of coming . . . The 11 and 12th weekend would be nice, but whatevs. I don't know if it's confirmed we're coming, but I know that myself and at least two others would be willing to go (three depending on the date).
That's Dallas' condition as well.

Also, is the 1v1 going to be first? I would think so. I agree with everyone else who has said that singles takes priority over doubles. Then crews, then low tier/whatever. yeah u should make it 19/20 for all those reasons...its free for every1 etc etc, and also, it seems houston is throwing some kind of tourny on 12/13, dont want any conflicts right? MLK seems to be the perfect choice. if more OOS comes, this will be a really good tournament.

You're really getting on my nerves here. Who's idea to throw a huge tournament was it Mine. So why are you telling me how to run it?
If we make what goes to the venue and what goes to pot separate, it will raise the cost of the tournament over all. I'm not going to say that's fact yet. I've still yet to discuss prices with Gamelot once more.
HOWEVER,
what IS fact is that I will have to be VERY forceful about who gets in. You will not be able to play AT ALL without a wrist band, and then people will cry that they just wanted to come for friendlies or to simply "watch". Not to mention that I will have to be constantly supervising to make sure this rule is not broken. I may have to also charge for BOTH days (This of course will be a 2 day event.)
Regardless bluezaft I plan on looking into other options for pricing. I am considering a raise to make the pot more worthwhile for OOS.
Seriously, don't boycott my tournament. SOS and I are the sole reason that there was a prequel to this to begin with.
