Does it require custom firmware?
I like never pay attention to the date,
if I can transfer my data from the japanese game I'll get it,
I don't want to unlock everything again
I, myself, wouldn't mind unlocking everything again, since, the game was short from what I remember, and I didn't know what I was doing (couldn't read.understand anything).

So apparently Cloud's infinite doesn't work and ExDeath's teleport is CRAZY.

Also, I found some forums for Dissidia (called Dissidia Forums, creatively enough) that are trying to get started and are looking for more members. They have several good players there (including Nero who is considered the best Tidus) so it's worth joining if you want to step up your game.

Yeah, that happened with me after I beat Warrior of Light's Story. I thought it was because his ended like chronologically last or something, but I guess it's happened with enough people that it's intentional. I think the only way to unlock Shantotto and Gabranth is by beating all the story modes, so you all should do that anyway.

But for the most part, it seems to be designed to be local multiplayer only.

Also, the voice actor for Garland is Christopher Sabat who voiced Piccolo in DBZ. I thought this was fitting since *SPOILERS*

weaponsmaster beats lots of air attacks both brave and HP
he only sux in the air because all he uses are spells
spam fire, then approach.
his air game meh I can agree to that but for somebody in the air to hit you, wont they have to get on ground?
even then shield bash can knock people out of the sky
EDIT: lolwut? the game has been out for less than 5 days and I've already run across a new glitch,
I'm charging straightarrow when a CPU kefka knocks me into the chase thing, I hit him with an HP attack and the straightarrow that I charged came out as well and hit him >.>
I could use this to my advantage

lol, that's actually my sig on another forum. (they have very lax rules about sig size)
Another reason why Terra is awesome.
And I think Sephiroth is pretty good in this game if only for the fact that he has ridiculous range on melee attacks and a decent air game. Hell's Gate has also gotten a buff in the sense that you can control it now.

No, see the joke that I was trying to make is that Bartz uses everyone else's weapons. Terra doesn't really have a weapon (in her chase attacks she pulls a sword out of nowhere and in her EX chase attacks she uses her esper claws but other than that it's all magic), so he only has 8 to choose from and he doesn't actually own any of them.
oh wow, you know you get my lead axe right? use it wisely.
and Terra does have a sword she just never really uses it.

I know and I do. It cancels into Soul Eater, Climbarrel, and Goblin Punch. Good times.
Also, I've been using The Emperor a lot. He's fun.
