Is there a stream for ssf4 right now? They have playstation all stars on the mainstream instead, is there anywhere where I can go to watch the street fighter matches?

It'll still be on the main stream soon, they're just taking a break. It'll go up to top 8 tonight.

I'm still in awe from a lot of awesome things that went down yesterday, but I'm more impressed with that MK9 player that had a seizure, got a concussion from it, and still came back to play the 4v4 despite it. That's crazy hardcore there.

That is some serious dedication right there. Wow.

Smooth Criminal

Yeah, they had to take him to the hospital and everything. And believe me, being epileptic myself, even though I haven't had one in ages (since I was medicated), I can safely say that when you have one you're completely out of it for the rest of the day that it happens and feel the effects for the next few days even because it's essentially like a kind of brain/sensory overload thing.

Mr. Karate's damage output looks insane. 0_o
Also, Noel Brown is so underrated.

Oh, Melty, I wish that game existed in America. :(

Always fun to watch some Melty.
Melty still does better than BB at tourneys... lol At least in Final Round it did.
I still can't play it though. I need a
decent
PC. So I mooch off of people.

Gundam looks crazy, if I had extra money to spend I would have imported that. It's like what Dissidia should have been.

Those disconnects though. :urg:

I'm waiting on the next one since there was another arcade release that has more mobile suits.
It would be awesome to play Gundam with people here. I heard the online was great too.

Where can I watch the Skullgirls archives? I was rather amazed to see that Trumpet, a guy I personally know, made it to fourth.

Somewhat recently, a few months or so.

Figured I should represent more Fire Emblem, but no room for Marth.

But does this mean it is also a brawl reference?

Because I can't be having any of that.

Training mode can only take me so far though, so I guess bad netcode > none at all. :054:

I can't deal with bad netcode. I gave up online KoF pretty fast after playing a few matches.
Even BlazBlue I have problems with, but that's mostly for people that don't have a stable connection.

Speaking of which, anyone know if the new upcoming Skullgirls patch is adding lobbies? I would've put more time into it if it did, but I'm afraid I'm going to be busy with GG and P4A.

If I was in a scene bad netcode would mean nothing to me.
But I don't have that, not right now anyways. :/

I'm okay with BB's netcode, I imagine it will be fine in P4A but I'm a little concerned about how well it will play with the new GG. Skullgirls has had the best netcode as far as overall lag is concerned, but I can choose how much delay there is so yeah.

Here is the latest patch notes for Skullgirls, I don't think I've seen anything about lobbies being added unfortunately.

Mai is pretty fun, only took me about a year to find this out.

But I already have three characters. :/

Meh, I'll just keep playing until I can build a second team.

I can't wait for it. I'm loving Virtua Fighter and I'm hoping that TTT2 will be the game to raise interest in 3D fighters like Street Fighter 4 did for 2D fighters.

I never really got into 3D fighting games. None of them have really seemed like something I would enjoy, are there any that have a feel like an anime fighter?

I would have thought that having the extra dimension would have opened up so much when it comes to movement, but they all like to try and stay on the 2D plane (I'm not saying 2D and 3D fighters are the same, just that they are not different enough imo. ) Of course none of that would matter if I knew of any that played like the games I enjoy, but the only 3D "fighter" that jumped out as something I really would like to play is Gundam vs Gundam.

Unfortunately it is not a genre I ever pay attention to, and nothing has ever made me want to. :/

I honestly find Tekken to be a weird game. It's incredibly easy to win while mashing (like I almost took someone out in a Tekken tournament by doing it, and this was not a noob I was up against), and yet the command list is so incredibly long.

I feel like it's really friendly to beginners, but not at all at the same time.

I used to play Tekken (3) a lot back in the day. I played Tag mostly in arcades since I didn't have a PS2 at the time. It didn't help that arcades were dying around this time. Tekken 4 and on didn't feel the same.
but the only 3D "fighter" that jumped out as something I really would like to play is Gundam vs Gundam.
Gundam is probably the only full 3D fighter that's worth playing on a high level. Too bad Bandai Namco only localizes the bad Gundam games, so importing's the only way to play it.

I actually think Tekken's pretty hard. Playing someone that knows the game gets you blown up by frame traps and corner combos. Mashing buttons in Tekken is kinda like mashing wake up reversals in 2D fighters. It makes new players feel better about themselves. That's just how I see it though.
