The Algerian goalkeeper had no excuse, he dived like he had conflicting brain messages.
Keepers are also making fine saves, so imo it's just people making johns. Vuvuzelas are definitely a problem though, I can barely hear the crowd chant how the hell do players communicate on the pitch?

A lack of communication between players is pretty much the death of a team's play.
There is no adaptation, I suppose that's why the games so far have been so mediocre, save for the Germany vs Australia one.

from what i read so far fifa is looking looking into the horns and will put a ban if necessary but no ban is being placed at the moment

i think they should just be restricted to goals...people are celebrating anyway so it's not a critical moment...i don't think they should be banned entirely because it IS a tradition for football games in south africa

BTW, just played with the world cup ball yesterday, gotta say it's a pisstake of a ball
it's sooo swervy in the air, almost impossible to curl accurately and is pretty dam hard
such a ball should not be used at an occasion as big as this imo, and should have at least been tested in some of the leagues beforehand to see its reception

they did use it as the match ball for the 2010 africa cup of nations and the clausura tournament...also they're using it for the 2010 mls season as the match ball
i agree though, they should've redesigned the ball based on player input before the cup...there was plenty of criticism in the months leading up to the cup from strikers and keepers alike
Honestly they should just use the Fevernova forever.
It was the BEST ball I have ever used, and it looks awesome.
It's slightly on the firm side but it has great performance in terms of control, weight, and swerve.

Don't know about you guys, but if the World Cup was held in my country for the very first time I would go nuts with the Vuvuzela! I'd blast that s#!+ so much!
Also, I missed like 3/4 of Germany and Australia cause I had to go to some boring s#!+! I saw the final score ten minutes ago and thought "R@@@@pe!"

If I go back to my elementary school days where I played kick ball . . . I can vaguely recall some balls where smoother or harder than others! Also, the weight was different in some of them! So, I would always want to play with the right ball!
