I am actually planning on watching that and Rio with my buddy. I think they're both worth seeing.

I wish I had kept Fox when I switched from Ike to Fox back when Brawl first came out... He was my favorite Melee and 64 character... Now it feels too hard to get back into him. Maybe I should just play Melee for the furry experience.

Nakat, I heard somewhere along the lines that to give ownership of a thread, a post has to be moved older than the OP. Since the Furry finder's from 2008, I can't really give it to you, so you'll have to make a new one eventually. I'm guessing after school ends you'll find the time.

Here's what I've got to say about that:

Spoiler

-Why Fox:Tradition, been a Fox main since Smash 64, even before I was a Star Fox fan. I also love Fox's sheer speed, I just can't get that from any other character.
-Controller Settings: Not a whole lot changed. Just tap-jump off and X for specials as well as B.

Gameplay Questions
-What's the general gameplan: Three words: Fox. Goes. Fast. Fox's unprecedented mobility gives him a plethora of options that are simply unavailable to most other characters. This gives Fox the flexibility to tackle most situations the opponent can throw at Fox.
-Best/worst stage: I personally like Battlefield, a lot. It's a real easy stage for Fox to maneuver around, and the higher platforms gives Fox the option for a quick kill. Other than some of the gimmicky stages, I'm not sure I have a "worst stage".
-Counters/Good Secondary: I keep a solid Marth and Lucario handy for Picachu situations, I'm learning Falco, and I have a pretty vicious Wolf too. I also train with Ike so I can get into the powerhouse mindset, because there are times where I have to treat Fox like a powerhouse in order to win (like vs. Metaknight).
-How to get back onto the stage: It depends on your opponent, really. To avoid the gimp, you need to read your opponent's gimp and decide whether to come in low or come in high. The exact details of what to do will be different for every situation.
-How to edgegaurd: I'm not all that great at edgeguarding. Fox has a few aces up his sleeve with the shine-spike, B-air, and sometimes D-air. Again, it's a different situation with every matchup/opponent.

Technique Questions
-SHTL: I use X as a special, so for me, it's a simple matter of sliding from Y-jump to X-special. I personally don't use it very much, but it's there, and I can pull it out if I feel like being cute with my tech-skill.
-Upsmash OoS: The way I do it is terrible, and probably isn't the best way, but I'm too lazy to learn a whole new control scheme. While shielding, I jump, reaching my left thumb across to click the C-stick up for the smash. I know, terrible.
-Rising Fair: Why is this even here? you just Jump and input an F-air simultaneously.
-AC aerials: be quick with the aerial move. Mostly useful for U-air, maybe D-air if you're coming in from way above and have enough space-time to land after it's finished.
-Illusion cancel: I made a whole video about this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoOzpbaIlhQ
-Jump-cancel Shine: Again, I use X-special, so it's just a matter of Y-jump sliding to X-special while holding down he control stick. This can also be coupled with a short dash and JCd very quick for a "shine-scoot".
You forgot some:
Reverse Sliding U-Smash: It took me until I had a fancy Japanese controller, but it's actually pretty easy. The input is similar to RAR B-air/reverse pivot "wavegrabbing". While in a dash, click back the control stick to start the reversing animation; immediately input Y-jump; immediately click up on the control stick and A-attack for the U-Smash. Again, I'm too lazy to change my control scheme, and I can do these things just fine with my setup.

Move Questions
-Shine's properties: Too much to list here without boring everyone
-Dtilt's use: This is a highly underused move, and doesn't suck. There are two hitboxes: 1) the sweep-kick in close, which knocks the opponent away at a roughly 45 degree angle; not all that useful really. 2) the tip of the tail, which pops the opponent up a small ways; I personally find this very useful at mid-%s as a set-up for F-air, when a D-throw won't cut it anymore.

Random Questions
-Why is Fox so Sexy: What? You haven't been subjected to all the gay porn/trashy fanfiction littering the internet? (lucky for you I guess) In short: the fangirls love him. It's become this self-perpetuating Fox/furry fandom phenomena that just won't go away. I have mixed feelings about it.
-Does Dtilt cause tripping on a recently landed enemy like Falco's Reflector?(randomly occured to me): Maybe? Possibly at higher %s like D-air. I haven't seen this happen enough to confirm it for sure.
