Okay.
The person was saying "Jesus, Mewtwo is gross looking."Who's Jesus mewtwo? I'm serious.
GameFAQs at its best. Nothing impressive.
Wait til it shows up in smash.Nope, I still don't like it and yes I tried to warm up to it. :/
There'll be a **** storm.Wait til it shows up in smash.
I hope for it, because sooner or later they will have to adapt (like mewtwo did lol)There'll be a **** storm.
Of course we can't say anything with certainty, but we can also make a reasonable guess on the odds of a character. Seeing the promotion Mewtwo has been getting as of late, it can be agreed upon that his chances of making it are really high.We don't even know if Mewtwo is truly going to come back though.
True; I meant it in more of a "This form or the regular form, Mewtwo would be in Smash, that's good either way." kind of way. I didn't mean to say I KNOW he is. Although its a REALLY safe bet at this point. Popularity, publicity, the stars are lined up for him.We don't even know if Mewtwo is truly going to come back though.
Deoxys was more than likely shafted in favor of the 4th generation, since that was the most modern series of the franchise at the time. Plus, Deoxys having all those forms... Sakurai probably didn't want to go through the trouble of making all of them, so he took the easier way out. Not that I really blame him for that, I guess. Deoxys (4 forms) & Pokemon Trainer (3 Pokemon) would be just too much.I guess I'm just not being very positive, since Deoxys did get the Poke Ball treatment for Brawl, despite being a strong 3rd generation rep for that game. I just fear that even with all the Mewtwo news going on that it'll still be cast away in the abyss, never to return as a Smash Bros. competitor.
From the looks of it, I think it might be a transformation. It doesn't seem all powerful. In case you guys haven't seen it yet due to the Nintendo Direct hype of today. Here is how Mewtwo transforms into "Newtwo". At least according to the movie.
I suppose this can either work as a final smash or normal transformation. And yes this should confirm it that it's totally a new form.
If MewTwo lands a role in Pokemon X & Y then he's as good as guaranteed IMO.I guess I'm just not being very positive, since Deoxys did get the Poke Ball treatment for Brawl, despite being a strong 3rd generation rep for that game. I just fear that even with all the Mewtwo news going on that it'll still be cast away in the abyss, never to return as a Smash Bros. competitor.
I remeber Ivysaur had a feminine voice in the Japanese version of brawl. But a masculine voice in the English version of brawl.I'm gonna assume they're gonna give him a more masculine voice in localization.
Definitely looks interesting... too bad I don't know Japanese.Reiko Takashima voices mewtwo in this movie.
I have no idea why, but here's an interview with the director and Mewtwo's voice actress.

You want Mewtwo to sound like a Mexican vampire? If only Eric Newsome could hear this. His voice for Meta Knight sounds just about right for Mewtwo to have by my ears.
