1. How early do you have to register for one of them and
2. How good do you have to be to be allowed in?

You have to get to the venue before the time it starts. The day of. Nothing else.
Also, you can be Mew2King, or randomguy76 to enter. Skill is not a requirement.
It helps though, since you need to pay to enter.
