AM very important questions. Do people have to target you for you to get an ability? Sorry that this is out of left field but I noticed another thing about BW's role that we need to confirm.

To put it in short, yes, and the action has to succeed. We also do not gain factional abilities such as a scum NK, an abduction, or a cult recruit, something of that nature. We went over this deeply with Gova during the initial portion of this day phase.

But BW couldn't have targeted you. BW stated that he was able to toggle off you last Night but also that he was paralyzed last Night. The only way this could happen is that he's either faster than JTB in NAR or he doesn't actually "target" someone to toggle them. However this couldn't be the case because then you wouldn't have gotten a power since he would have never targeted you.

Am I missing something or what?

We went through this in-depth as well. Badwolf said he has to target to toggle but not to untoggle.

Kantrip has a lot more wrong with him even more so with his latest string of posts, again he is going off on theories far off what I would expect him to do as town.

This actually makes sense. Especially since it can't be confirmed that there wasn't a haste on anyone outside of mafia on the last 2 NK's. It's logical that there is a haste within mafia that he could use in conjunction with a NK.

Good way to test this is to just wait and see what happens. Or, you know, you could make some tinfoil hat assumption that I'm a plant abductor and took BOTH of the NEIGHBOURS (why both at the same time, they are neighbours and not life-linked). Then you can lynch one of the towniest slots in the game over this whack-job theory just to be wrong and be back at square-one because you're still looking for the remaining mafia member (still going to be Dark Horse) and an indy that doesn't even have the ability you thought it had.

.... My question about this. If Kant is an abductor why couldn't/didn't he abduct last Night?
Plus, his is one of the only roles we can't confirm atm.

Because it's a lot more easy to be inactive than to have bad theories.

I may be putting too much stock in my read of Kantrip. DH might be a scummy inactive but we have confirmation of his role and the only way to justify him using on AM is by making a lot of assumptions as to why scum DH would do that.
