To be honest its pretty ****ing easy to avoid getting grabbed by ice climbers. ICs got horrible grab range and you kinda know what their game plan so just avoid being grab its pretty simple. Any how someone pm me or keep me informed about any update in rules for this tournament, pretty please .

HOBO rules are to accommodate Xyro likings. To be honest no one really likes the rules and they have been asked to change them plenty of times. I know I'm not the only Dallas player that finds Hobo rules (well xyro rules) to be a bunch of bull ****. Houston only get good turn out due to 70+ locals.

This. Many players in texas despise Hobo's ruleset. I think it's horrible. If Hobo's ruleset is going to be used at this tournament then I will not be attending. If IC's/DDD's/Falcos/ anyones grabs or locks or wall infinites or anything of the sort are limited then I'm not attending.
People are too afriad of getting better to actually getting around things.


Also, the person who keeps saying IC's grabs are broken is stupid. Or his arguments are anyways. At least provide logical arguments when trying to get something banned.

Can you show me any tournament results that show any IC play dominiating with infinite grabs? Can you prove to me that it's unavoidable to not be grabbed by ICs? Did you know several characters counter IC's and they are amoung the easiest characters in the game to stage counterpick? People act like killing Nana and keeping climbers seperated is impossible. Last time I played Roy_R with climbers in tournament you know how many times I grabbed his marth while my climbers were synched? ONCE. That's it. He lost that stock, then proceded to two stock me by killing my nana over and over because she can't DI.

Yes I do know about the ice climbers grab set ups BUDDY. Melee1 is possibly (well was possibly) one of the best Ice Climbers in the nation and I played with him regularly with d4ba, and trust me the chain grabs are escapable or techable.

If someone beats you by 0 deathing you with IC's 3 times in a row, then you probably suck, and they definitely would have beaten you anyways.

Metaknight, I can take or leave. I'd rather see him banned right now at this tournament, simply because I'm interested in seeing what happens at a big tournament without him, and I'm not driving all the way out to HOBO.

El Paso: I hate you guys for bustin' my balls by making this such a close date to my OH SNAP! v4.0 tournament. I've gone back and forth over it for the last couple of days, but it is with great disappointment that I have decided that I will not be able to attend this exciting event of yours. The drive, in and of itself, is not very daunting for me, but I will be dropping a lot of money in order to house 50+ OOSers for OH SNAP!, and I don't think my wallet can handle the additional expenditure of making such a long trip down to El Paso. To all of my other Texas brethren making the trip out there: good luck to you guys, and hope you guys are all still able to make it out to OH SNAP!. =)
