Why do the rich get all the good stuff. I would've felt better if they gave a sweepstakes to see who gets the new Xbox or something INSTEAD OF GIVING IT AWAY TO THE RICH

Honestly, all videogame companies are guilty of this. They give the press nice things to get a positive word in reports. So far as marketing is concerned, there's no difference between this and spending another million dollars to get an extra celebrity on the stage.

But yeah. I want free stuff too

Didn't like the conference all too much. Kinect was boring for the most part when they showed all the games. Kinda cool I guess, but it doesn't really interest me.

Highlight of the conference was Metal Gear Solid Rising for me.
I love MGS so of course I'm excited for another game in the series.

Sony 2006 had Sony basically trying to say because of the Playstation name alone, they're worth having. Despite the 599.99 dollar price tag for the PS3. Trying to hype the Ridge Racer on the PSP. And who can forget giant enemy crabs.

Nintendo 2008 was a dark horse for Nintendo fans because the core gamers thought they left. Then again, when your biggest announcement was a Wii Music and the only core games for them were Grand Theft Auto DS, Animal Crossing DS, and a third one I forgot, you can't blame them.

It's kind of difficult to make your Market appeal to all sides of the property ladder. Sure, the rich get everything, but you'd get no profit if you made it so low the poor could afford it too.

No, but its a traditional series in which only one game in the seires is produced for the current generation, starting from N64. Nintendo broke this trend by releasing SMG 2, which makes me believe that they will announce a new SSB at E3 or soon.

I don't know if I read this right, but starting from N64 would mean that you don't count Ocarina of Time to Majora's Mask?
And Gamecube has 2 Metroid Prime games and 2 Pikmin games if you count those to be traditional.

They actually showed some extra gameplay of that on Spike TV, you should've seen it.

Sony is rumored to announce the PS4 and will just show a ton of Move games + Killzone 3, LBP2, InFamous 2, and something else I am forgetting. Nintendo will likely demo the 3DS a lot, show games, and maybe have a teaser trailer for something (last year was Zelda, year before was Pikmin 3). Chances are it'll be fairly low-key. Nintendo rarely goes all out.

More expensive than the premium X360 package was in 2005.

♪ I love Microsoft, but that was the worst presentation I've ever seen by them. And the fact that Kinect ruined the whole Xbox E3 wasn't bad enough, Kinect looking more like a copy of some Wii games, and costing $150 is just pushing it. Only game I like is MGS Rising, which is one game. T_T †
