Simple question. Are you an efficiency maniac who refuses to veer off course for useless rupees? Or does part of your soul die every time a rupee fades into oblivion when it would have taken maybe half a second to save it?

Honest answers, people.

I grab all rupees all the time. I'm OCD that way.

I usually just do it out of habit, but I always rage in the early dungeons when my small wallet is full but I still find red rupees. >_<

This seemed to always happen to me in TP.

Yes.

I also really hate when I'm in a dungeon, have a full wallet, open a chest with rupees, and then find out that I have to leave them.

That is my major gripe with Twilight Princess. STOP PUTTING THE RUPEES BACK. I end up opening the same chests several times over because of that stupid mechanic.
Yup. In order to go for an epic 100% clean sweep of the game, you gotta go blow all your cash on stuff and then revisit dungeons. It's obnoxious.

I spent a good half an hour on the cuckoo jump to only get to the chest with rupees I have to put back

I don't just pick Rupees up. I pick up everything, regardless. Bombs, arrows, slingshot ammo, you name it. I get mad if I don't get them! .___.; Don't ask me why. Bwah.

I kinda do, but I try to make sure I blow the rupees buying stuff before going in the temple so that I have an open wallet for them. It gets full quick, though.:urg:

For about 10 years, I don't think I ever spent rupees unless it was quest or story-related. Recently, I've started to embrace spending them on things like red or green potions. In OoT, I used to go into the Ganondorf fight with four bottled fairies. Now, knowing that I rarely die in this fight, I've switched to having only one fairy and three green potions. Sometime this past year, I bought something (bombs, arrows, etc. can't remember) from one of the Deku vendors in the dungeons.

Anything that I can pick up, I will. Even after the 10th red rupee I've seen with my wallet full, I still go for it. Considering no one ever uses rupees, it would be nice if Nintendo gave us a small wallet, large wallet, and infinite wallet ( and bomb bags and quivers). Of course, maybe the ammo bags with that system would make things too easy, I dunno.

I started playing through Ocarina of Time again today, and I still pick up everything I see on the ground. With a full wallet and several full bags, I still pick up every bomb, nut, stick, rupee, etc. It's a habit, and I don't mind it. What I really need to start doing is spending my rupees more. :awesome:

It's weird. I'm kind of compulsive about it.

If there's an even amount I do, if there's not I say forget it.

This pretty much exactly sums up my approach.

Even if I tell myself "I don't need that item, I've got full hearts/wallet/ammo/etc., it's fine, just keep moving", it bugs the crap out of me to have it disappear.

I can't help but pick up rupees/bombs/arrows, unless they're really out of the way. I honestly thought I was the only one, I'm glad to see I'm "normal". :)

I hated having to leave chests full of rupees behind in Twilight Princess. They're still marked on your minimap, and I have to mentally keep track of what chests are rupees that I don't need, and which I should be trying to get.
