Curious these leaked games are all mostly third party made. Save for Skyward Sword HD, and Mario Golf. I wonder what Nintendo has in store for first party content. There's gotta be something.

Yeah, curiously SS HD could potentially also be considered "non-Nintendo" if the port is outsourced to another external company, and likewise Mario Golf is likely by Camelot. This seems like a very third party heavy list, and all actual Nintendo first-parties are still under wraps.

he can melt through the stage and when hit he will lose parts of his body all around it; if he manages to touch the lost parts he can re-absorb them to recover some of the damage taken.

To be pedantic it's because a square is a 2D object, compared to a cube which is a 3D object and is what occupies the world of Minecraft.
