It just makes sense that, since Nintendo already went back to every company involved in Smash 4 to renegotiate for their characters, stages, and music, for Ultimate, that they would do the Mii costumes at the same time. There's absolutely no logical reason they would make deals for everything ELSE and exclude ONLY the Mii costumes in those deals.

The idea that Nintendo went "Okay Square, we want to bring back Cloud, his Stage and his two songs from Smash 4...but we don't want those two Mii costumes yet. We'll come back for them later if we get another character from you." is kinda ridiculous.

Realistically it seems that every 3rd party DLC Mii costume from SSB4 was negotiated for reappearance with the caveat that they would be DLC again instead of part of the base game. They then distributed said costumes more or less evenly across the entire timeframe of Ultimate's DLC, mixing them in 1 or 2 at a time among new content. (The Dragon Quest patch had no returning ones but every other patch had at least one.) There's only 3 costumes left to bring back and 3 character patches left to line them up with. It seems pretty apparent how they're handling it to me.

It seems to me like it's far simpler that Nintendo started renegotiating for the costumes once they started planning for FP1.
I can’t see much of a reason for them to spend as much time talking about 0.75 cent costumes as they did on the biggest game ever (Minecraft).

Maybe to you. To me it's more ridiculous to pay for Geno's Mii Costume in 2015 and sit on it for 5 years.

But...again, they did that with EVERY returning Smash 4 costume. Why would Geno's be different?

Tails, Knuckles, X, Protoman, Zero, Heihachi, Akira, Jacky, Geno, Chocobo, Gil. All came back. All spread out around different packs. That was CLEARLY intentional so that each pack would be the same general size with a mix of old and new costumes.

They put the goddamn Mega Man costumes in DIFFERENT packs! Are you trying to tell me they negotiated for those costumes at different times?

It seems to me like it's far simpler that Nintendo started renegotiating for the costumes once they started planning for FP1.

Yeah, I agree. The difference is, you seem to think they started planning FP1 later than they started planning the base roster. I don't, because that's not how game development works(early DLC is pretty much always planned at the same time as the core game, if they've announce the DLC before the game even launched, they decided on it the same time they were making the main roster).

Remastering Unleashed despite basically no one asking for it might be the most Sega move I’ve ever seen. Wish it was real though, Colors was a big part of my childhood.
Edit: Considering the literal first post below this one is someone wanting an Unleashed Remaster, perhaps the game has more of a fanbase than I thought lmao.

I was watching an Atelier Ryza 2 stream recently because yes. I wasn't particularly interested in the game, but while I was watching the stream I heard the battle theme... and oh my god, such a banger. I really love the feeling of adventure and good vibes the song has.

I'm gonna share it here because I think some people around here are fans of the series. But I must say, after hearing this track now I'm curious and might try the new game lmao

I'm gonna share it here because I think some people around here are fans of the series. But I must say, after hearing this track now I'm curious and might try the new game lmao

Atelier games are... not your average JRPG fare to say the least? Less SAVE THE WORLD FROM IMPENDING DOOM, more slice of life with alchemy, character and relationship development, and cute character designs? And also more exploring the lore of their own world. nice change of pace from the average JRPG

And even then I've seen some people admit that the Werehog stages aren't all that bad in the first place (Though I think everyone still agrees that they need more musical variety). It was just too much of a jump, especially when the Boost formula was new and needed to make a good first impression

Honestly? For me it's between Studiopolis and Space Colony ARK. Because, respectively, Sonic's casino levels (and its "here's a relatively mundane locale turned into a zany platforming sequence" levels in general) are some of my favorite things, and Sonic Adventure 2 ruled.

I like the idea of the Egg Fleet better. We've never had a stage set on a flotilla of massive, flying battleships yet, have we? Maybe even the Final Fortress, if they want a darker setting.

definently agree that eggman's stage should be death egg, though my sonic stage of choice would be chemical plant death egg just makes sense for eggman

Honestly, any new Sonic stage would be good with me: Chemical plant, Casino Nights, Egg Carrier, Death Egg, Green Hill, Studiopolis. So many great choices. I don't have particularly high hopes for another Sonic character at this point, but it's just fun to think of the possibilities.
