Hate to do this but for everyone still clinging onto theories about Gen 8 Pokemon for dear life, Toxtricity fits the bill as well.

As far as Pokemon goes that would be one of my better case scenarios, so I wouldn't be too upset. Admittedly my expectations are already pretty nonexistent so it's gonna be hard to disappoint me too hard at this rate.

So this code mentioned here belongs to a file that can still be found on the eShop called td.min.js, which is part of a SDK (Software Development Kit) used by the eShop. This file is not exclusive to the Smash pages, you can also find it in any of the DLC pages by inspecting the page (for example, I looked at the Blazblue DLC page here and it still was there, with no differences. There, you'll find the file which has the mention of these six colors and they are the exact same ones.

The reason people fell for this is because the colors sounded too similar to the ones used by the pass, but this is nothing more than a coincidence because:

1. This belongs to a single SDK file that is used by the entire eShop, not just the Smash pages
2. The eShop uses PNGs, so no hard coded color would be there. Not only that, but all pages use a gold background which has nothing to do with Smash's website

Here's the actual set of colors for DLC so far. Some of these feel thematic, while others just look like they match certain color aspects, but the corresponding color to the character is more-or-less jaded or dull.

And you say this because you've actually checked them all and confirmed this, right? If we are entertaining this idea, then we should come to understand that there must be some outliers. Like did you know Samus and Dark Samus have the same color? Outliers as a reason beat "It must be in Sephiroth's eyes".

But if a second opinion of someone who knows their way around web code can corroborate them then yeah I'll admit to falling for the whole bit lol, oh well
