I just realized, Kazuya is the first character that is shirtless by default. You would think we would have a character like that already but no, only alts like Shulk or Sephiroth but that's about it.

Hmmm, It'd most likely be Stamina matches. As for some opponents:

Banjo could represent Kuma and Panda
Mega Man could represent the Jacks
Little Mac could represent Steve Fox
Tiny Pac-Man and either R.O.B. or a Mii Fighter wearing a hypothetical Mokujin Mii Costume could represent Pac-Man on a Mokujin
Mii Brawler wearing a Hiehachi Mii costume if you have it downloaded

Which is a shame, because Banjo seems like a no-brainer stand-in for Kuma. I wish they could've treated DLC fighters the same way they treat certain DLC Mii Costumes.

Out of these, the only character who is shirtless in the human society-acceptable manner and isn’t really just fully or mostly naked is Banjo.

…Although, if Bayonetta being covered in her own hair counts as clothes, Lucario is wearing shorts. But then you have to consider if the cream-colored fur on its upper body counts as a vest or not.

I guess you could argue that Plant’s pot counts as pants since it covers up the legs that it uses to run around, but that’s probably really reaching.

On second thought regarding my Kazuya Mii list, I could see another non-Namco fighter costume make it in like Sol Badguy or Ragna the Bloodedge

but definitely seeing Lloyd, Nightmare, Monokuma (come on pls I need this ) and we are way overdue for another Indie Mii with a song.

Pls don’t be a Gunner this time. Unless it’s Gunvolt with a Lumen song or something, that’s the ONLY exception

we’ve had three standalone peeps (Min Min, Sephiroth, Kazuya) and two slots that show two characters, be them alts of each other or a two in one (a duo a la Ice Climbers, Duck Hunt or Banjo and Kazooie are also possible): Steve/Alex and Pyra/Mythra

so I think the last one will be a character with a female and male alt shown in the same slot (Octoling) or a BK/IC/DH like duo (Off the Hook)

Maybe. The limitation could be the engine though so throwing better hardware at it might not solve the problem.

Then again it does sound like they were close to being able to do it considering the game can handle 8 Rexes and 8 Pyra/Mythras onscreen. Maybe it just can't do that and make the calculations needed to handle Pyra and Mythra's movement, in which case I would imagine it's a hardware issue rather than a software issue, but who knows.

at this point just rip the bandage off and bring Lloyd’s Mii back, a fellow Namco character is the perfect wave to do it in

let me remind y’all that Lloyd’s costume in 4 was in a random wave sans character, just like with the MonHuns. We got the latter back with Pythra (coincidentally since both Xenoblade and MH have you hunt named monsters) soooo

Imagine Super Smash Bros. with top of the line hardware though. Character based light sources like Charizard's tail, Pyra/Mythra's core & ether lines, Pit's arm rings, and Luma's entire body actually lighting up the areas around them (or at least glowing in the dark), characters that aren't affected by the lighting like Mr. Game & Watch and Enderman's eyes being very noticeable due to this trait...

OK it would mostly just be a lighting change since photorealism is not a good idea, but it would still be gorgeous.

As for the Miis, I'll say what I said about Aegis' wave: I hope we get some weird ****. My favorite Mii Costume rounds are the ones where we just get some that have nothing to do with the character, so in the incredibly short intervals between the costume reveals, it feels like anything can happen. So having it just be "Tekken characters + Lloyd" would be pretty lame IMO. That was my issue with Sephiroth's Mii wave.

I dunno man, throw us some cooler stuff on the Namco front than just Tekken and Tales, another one of the "indie character + song"-type Miis feels long overdue, or we could get an unexpected third-party like Vault Boy or Altaïr, or a smaller character from one of the already-involved companies like Goemon or Arthur (SEGA and Capcom I think are goldmines of potential in that regard - where's my Captain Commando Mii, you cowards), another assist-to-Mii jump like the Squid Sisters or Bomberman - or another first-party costume, we haven't gotten a lotta those in DLC!

Point is, I want this Mii wave to be one of the wild ones.
