I know DJ already said that he isn't going but I'd just like to point out that if DJ Nintendo was able to pay some of his debts back by selling Hacked Melee copies then he would be paying people back with money which was STOLEN from Nintendo which is completely counter productive. I know a lot of people think that stealing from big corporations isn't really stealing. But it is, stealing is stealing

No where in my post did i ever say that it was "ok" As u said stealing is stealing. However putting him on blast in the public just cause he wants to sell hacked melee copies is childish.

Now i agree if what was said in the op is true and he owes all these people back yet has money to pay someone to house him is wrong on so many levels. But who are you or anyone else to dictate what he can or cannot do. Like i said he grown,. If he wants to take those actions then let him. Any consquences that happens to him and the people who associate themselves with those actions they will be responsible. Hacked melee copies is no different then the people who run brawl from their USB drives. Yet im sure no one is going to say anything to the owners of the setups at apex that is running off USB.

I think the main point is more a public awareness statement. Making this thread avoids the situation where DJ shows up, tells someone he can pay them money for a hotel room after he sells all his hacked stuff, then like has happened to everyone else, he doesn't pay. Now everyone is aware of the situation and he can't get away with promising to pay people later.
