I'm not saying John is scum because of Soup's reasoning. I'm saying Soup's vote on John at that point in the game was weird. It does indeed look like a scummate voting another scummate, which is not at all rare. Don't clear John based off of this.

Ugh this is super to wake up to but getting to it in a bit.

I'm sick of all the **** that has been flying around lately. The last game I was able to genuinely enjoy was OS All-Stars with Joey. A good chink of DGames sees me as complete ****, and there is no way to change it. I try to do better, I get no input. I try to play in a different style, and it is used against me.
Please just vote me so that I can end my last commitment here and take my permanent leave.
John, I'm not voting a town-read, that's just not logical. Also John, I apologize if you feel that way in terms of DGames, but there is a way to change it if you feel people are getting on you for the way you play. I mean, personally, I don't find you that terrible.

I can bring you loads of games where I did that and got completely ****ed because of it, both in play and postgame.
I've heard all of the "mafia is serious, they'll be mean, etc" kind of stuff. I know it and understand it. What I don't understand is how many people [without using names] have to be ***holes in every game with me. I try to learn, I try to change my playstyle, I try to get better. Nothing has worked in the past, and I'm pretty ****ing sure that means the future ain't going to be any different.

john, i think you're a cool guy - one of the nicest on SWF. but looking at your play this game and paper mario, you absolutely deserve all the **** thrown at you. you can't complain about not getting better or people not giving you input when you put literally no effort into the games you join.

John, it may seem dark now and yeah some people really need to stop being ***holes to other players in order to "teach" them because that doesn't teach anyone anything unless you go the theories "tough love/gotta introduce them to real aspects" which is bull IMO. God haha.

Because vanilla town can't do **** other than talk smack to other players. They make great dummies for NKils, and nothing else.
If I'm getting ****ed out and just want to vote myself to hasten my leave, then the worst town loses is a vanilla townie. No PR with special powers, just a plain vanilla townie.

John, VT is probably one of my favorite roles to get because you can do more without being afraid of dying/losing a town PR. Regardless of that, it doesn't mean that you should be lynched for not having anything.
And regardless of all that, you are town in your knowledge. Which means you aren't a threat to your win-con and it is extremely bad/against your win-con to have yourself die instead of scum.

I suuuuuuuuuuuuck at poetry. I am studying to be an english teacher (as well as director) and it's still the bane of my existence. I mean why does it have to be shrouded in rhetorical devices or mixed-up rhyming.

Alright taking a break from responding to TB because Inferno's last post just triggered something in me that is making me really worried.
A big reason I dislike Inferno is that he is not looking at intent of people and just looking for people to lynch. His last post exemplifies this in him saying "IDC what John is doing, let's lynch him." unlike people like myself/Swords looking at what is actually behind his posts rather than just wanting to find a lynch. Inferno also has kept his options open (which is not a reaching statement so I don't get why he got so miffed at that). He has left himself an out onto the TB wagon and kept forcing the claim issue with me and John but Inferno had originally not had TB as as scum-read but kept wanting a claim. Why? It's different from when I was asking for claims because I was pushing for claims off my scum-reads that were made known in the thread.
Inferno hasn't been looking for scum in my opinion, but more so just looking for lynches. His play toDay has just been him going with the flow of what he believes would get the lynch. It can be shown through the way he was alright with a TB lynch until TB/Gheb started the John wagon back up and then it's like "Yeah, let's just auto-kill John, no one listen to his appeal." He even tries to use my meta for John which is a complete stretch because I have self-voted as town and mafia for gambits and the like and this does not seem like a gambit from John. He doesn't seem to be analysising things in a deeper way and looking at things incredibly surface level which leads me to believe his intentions are ingenuine.

It's just like in Skype mafia awhile ago John, when Zen was scum, you and Joey were town, and I was a town tree stump. We ended lynching you that game (thus giving Zen the win) because you literally did nothing the whole game.

I don't know how to describe TB as scum or town. It kind of meshes for me in a mediocre could lean either way. The fact is, I am seeing him being more wrong on pretty much all his scum-reads this game as a sign of scumTB (i.e. I am town, and John is a town-read)

I ask you this because TB seems to have been doing his homework this game, it's just that a couple of times I think he's wrong about something (just an example, but I thought that his point about you not being able to interpret Gheb's poetry was reaching), which would worry me if he was a good player as town/mafia.
