Yeah, people here are taking this topic as if we are making these changes for a fact. We made this topic 100% as a method to get your input before taking any action.

And so far, people do not support said changes, so we don't add them. The sky isn't falling

Better off getting this topic closed given the feedback thus far.

The sky may not be falling but the sun is getting bigger....

What is going to happen about the tripping attacks? It appears there is more agreement with removing at least some of the tripping attacks

Stitchface turnip? Seriously? King Dedede has a higher chance to pull out a gordo than Peach does with the turnip, and the gordos KO at a much lower %. Stitchface should stay as it's KB has already been nerfed from melee to brawl, the chances of seeing it are low, and turnips vary anyway. As for her items, I was under the impression that she can't pull them out if you have items turned off instead of simply setting them to none. But since I'm wrong, I say they should stay in. Why?

Mr. Saturn: Holding a item already keeps a character from doing anything else aside from special attacks, smashes(if they held the A button as they pulled it out), and jumping. Peach trading her A moveset for an item that does very little aside from shield weakening isn't a reward. If anything, you see these more than stitchface.

Bomb-omb: Stronger than stitchface in KB and they show up more often. Already seems silly. But Peach is a close range character. With no other projectiles to use, this limits her to...nothing if you're close to her. She can't throw it for fear of hitting herself. She can't hold it forever, and she definitely can't spam this as a normal projectile. Plus, the bomb-omb is obvious and easily caught by numerous actions, thanks to brawl. You'll probably get hit by it thanks to bad approaching or because you weren't paying attention.

Beam sword: For anyone who plays Peach, they'll notice that the range is horrendously bad in comparison to the normal sword when she pulls it out. She swings it with a skilk inferior to that of a 2 year old, 1 armed baby. Basically, she pulls out a nerfed version of the sword. She has to drop it first and then pick it up before it becomes a threat. Aside from the possibility of her throwing it. Plus, it isn't gamebreaking. Peach isn't top tier.

Luigi's misfire should be kept in. Getting hit by that is similar to failing to edgegaurd Ness and being hit by a PKT2. Plus, it isn't exactly overpowered and comes at the risk of Luigi's recovery not going as planned at all.

As strong as the gordos are, they should probably recieve a slight nerf. Mind you, they count as projectiles and can be reflected.

Game & Watch's judgement? I say that numbers 4 and 5 should be given better effects. Having only 4 numbers do decent things is awful. 7,8, and 9 are the only worthwhile numbers to get if you ask me.

I can't believe the amount of crying in this thread. So many tears you could build a pond. This is supposed to be a competitive game, and randomness is not competitive at all. If you are in a tournament and lose because of a fluke bomb or sword while you're recovering, that's ridiculous.

There's a huge split between "Randomness is not competitive" and "The random moves are not broken". The argument will likely go on forever. However I would say that "Randomness is not competitive" must be true, but no one has proved that random moves are not broken yet. To get a middle point, I would suggest removing the true "broken" outcome of random moves. Again, at least the risk/reward ratio should be acceptable, no matter you are super lucky or super unlucky.
