It's not as bad as watching the actual anime. Even though the anime is great at making you initially think you're watching a great hack and slash with digital effects that is largely plot independent, before revealing that it planned on hanging itself with the plot the entire time.

Oh I got you, the plot synopsis thing was a genre synopsis, any anime that tried to tackle all of those categories would clearly be a parody of the genre as a whole.

When it comes to shonen jump anime, it's all about the story and the future expansions. Yeah.

I thought it was really funny that clover described the zero from last game as "getting what they wanted" from the last nonary game. I was trying to decide if that mean clover actually didn't know what they wanted(it was rather strange) or if she just forgot. also I keep on forgetting that in the true ending of 999 clover didn't actually kill anyone so she might not actually be a crazy murderer. I really don't like having to go through the scene where quark tries to commit suicide multiple times. The voice on that part still gives me chills.
