You can complain about retail. I can complain about working in shipping. On top of the Christmas weather not being so jolly in what's little more than a garage, we are also busy busy busy and people are just as stupid when it comes to shipping as it is shopping. Also OS because this has to be a separate post. It may please you to know that "This side up" and "Fragile" and whatever else you've written on your box doesn't mean anything to me. Shipping companies put a little sticker on your box, and the sticker faces up. That's it. If it's heavy, there's a yellow sticker on it. And if it's fragile and has a liquid that could break inside, it has about 40 big red stickers on it.

Quick self-centered interjection time:

Going to Vegas in two days for the first time since I've turned 21. Any recommendations on what I should do while I'm there? Things like buffets (especially ones with sushi), shows, events, casinos, etc come to mind. No Limit Texas Hold'Em with low buy-ins ($50-$100 minimum) would also be nice if anyone knows where that kind of stuff goes down.

Note: I'm staying at Planet Hollywood.

I'll pass on strip clubs and things of that nature. I'm a gigantic prude, what can I say? (Not really, but I find strip clubs distasteful and a complete waste of money and time in just about every respect.)

I'm using only $100, maybe $150 for gambling, going any higher seems like I'd be setting myself up for problems.

I actually know exactly what you're talking about. There's definitely a pirate-themed thingamajig over there, but I can't remember what it's called for the life of me. And yeah, Stratosphere as well as New York New York have amusement park rides in them...shiz is cray, but hella expensive.

I've been thinking about the show survivor a lot and how I would go about winning the game. For those familiar with the show, how would you play the game?

I would essentially play the game like I would play scum: establish my worth early on and pinpointing which players have the greatest chance to make it to final 3 to make sure they don't make it there. I also have a very likable personality irl and I think that would benefit me in avoiding votes.

I'll be the loader. Establish a strong alliance with someone who isn't manipulative, but smart enough and was good at challenges. Let them carry me to the final 2/3. Hopefully I'll be just as good at challenges so that some people may think that I also "deserve" the million. Otherwise hope that the other person is Russel and thus is so hated at that point that the jury just picks me out of spite of the other guy.

For the actual show, find a Day 1 alliance and stick to it. Those are always incredibly powerful and for good reason. Beyond that, just try to stay on the right side of the numbers.

For forum Survivor, post asstons, never lie. For some reason people are particularly hostile to you after a backstab when nothing's on the line, but when it's $1,000,000., they're pretty cool about it. (I got 4th though, so I was close)
