A "buoy" is something that floats. So maybe to lift someone's spirits up?

Mien - Mien chicken! A tasty cheap and fattening tv Chinese dinner that you can buy at the supermarket.

Or maybe you mean the German word? Mien = My. Like Hitler's "Mien Kamphf" or "My Struggle." Probably didn't spell "Kamphf" right. But yeah, you probably mean "mein" as in "mine."

Halcyon days - Gonna have to guess. Halcyon days = Glory Days?

Fayed - don't know

To waive - To give up

To loath - To hate

Clamor - loud noise (<- Cheated on this one, really felt that I should know it but I didn't).

Vixen - A pretty lady. I think also manipulative? Or elusive? One of those two I think.

I like the shoes, personally I always go for slimmer fits - even on my feet.

Got a new wireless mouse, a new headset with microphone, and my laptop is now running Windows 8. Also I got Persona 4 for myself.

Got a some guitar stuff, ATH m50s headphones, some books (Starship Troopers, The Truth Machie, some t-shirts (Pink Floyd, BTBAM, Jimi Hendrix).

Bizarrley, my mom also got us a used Xbox 360 (She took measures to throw away the halo that was in there) and a netbook.

Ok, so I should preface this by saying my family's fairly well-off (upper-middle class) and I got a sizeable chunk of stuff for Christmas. So if for some reason you might be offended by the fact that I got more stuff than you, either don't look or stop being a babby. :embarrass:
