great game, great levels, potential for developing tech-skill while you play, hilariously annoying Baby Mario mechanic, cool *** boss fights, awesome music, perfect pace for Let's Play commentary. and its not that long

BTW, I don't know how many of you noticed, but in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, there is a "Lovers" couple right before you reach the Safari Zone that has two Pokemon...

Yoshi's island is the common title. Super Mario World 2/Super mario advance 3 are subtitles for the same game. Anyways, I'd enjoy watching you do that.

You losing rotom at the start was dumb, I haven't played on shoddy in ages but when I stopped about a year ago scarf tyranitar was all the rage (but I guess his was banded, but same thing really) and if I ever used rotom or dusknoir I learned to always to just double switch to scout.

I used to have the exact same problem with SD lucario. I'd always bring him out early to stop TTar/Blissey and he'd just waste get ***** by life orb + residual damage. I actually started running a SD Luke with lefties and a bulkier spread (iirc, still adamant but with not much attack EVs, and some HP investment). It worked pretty good if you want to use lucario for early game stuff.

Crobat lead looks sick, props for that.

CB Swampert looks awesome. I love you taking out Machamp because he is seriously my most hated pokemon to fight. Him and Breloom, I swear they can be impossible to counter without at least sacrificing someone.

Overall good comeback. LOL at him thinking machamp was going to outspeed anything.

Good commentary too! The chat mindgames made me lol.

I can't decide if I'd rather vote for a ****ty game that'll just be a godawful experience for Omni to play but will result in epic lulz for the viewers, or for a ****ing sweet game made even sweeter by nostalgia goggles.

Superman 64 fits the bill perfectly for the former scenario, and Yoshi's Island is soooooo perfect for the latter.

Either one would be awesome IMO.

No way dude gotta be Radical Dreamers. Such an under appreciated game (along with Chrono Cross) especially considering it's the sequel to freakin' Chrono Trigger which everyone and their mom knows.

Plus Radical Dreamers is wack as **** and has plenty to comment on. Like perverted evil sunflowers with curly badguy mustaches!

And guys don't be dumb and suggest RPGs. Omni would have to buy like an entirely new harddrive to record a full playthrough.

Games like Star Ocean and such are great (for example I'd love to watch someone who's never played Tales of Symphonia play through it) but they take wayyyy to much time to beat and for the most part aren't exactly fun to watch (lots of downtime and micro management).

Hahahaha yeah man you know how I roll, playin some mafia, schoolin in japan, and causing the abnormal evolution of species are just some of my daily activities. =P

But yeah props for playin Cross man. First play through? I liked it better than Trigger honestly (though my perspective might be a bit different since I actually played the games through in proper order; CT -> Radical Dreamers -> Cross). Music is just unreal good, you can't level grind, and the battle system isn't mind-numbingly simple or easy unlike 99% of RPGs.

And don't even get me started on the series' storyline hahaha too good.

Oh and Omni have you ever considered adult films? 13:14 in episode 8 of your playthrough shows some real talent. XD

Lost levels is mad hard but would probably make for a rather boring Let's Play. Great game to play for a challenge but its not very inspiring.

DKC2 is easily one of the best platformers ever made. That'd make for an awesome let's play right up there with Yoshi's Island. In fact I think I might vote for DKC2 over YI just to see Omni play Bramble Scramble if he's never done it before.

Better yet if he did a complete playthrough it'd be a riot to watch anyone new to the game play the final bonus world level were you play entirely as the animal buddies.

Or the level with the life stealing Krashes hahahaha.

So much potential for awesome with DKC2.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles > Sonic & Knuckles hands down. Still feel like slower paced platformers are more fun to watch because you can actually watch whats going on and think about the puzzles as the player plays. With Sonic games they're kinda entertaining to watch but get boring after awhile because the real thrill of those games is having to react to all the **** at the games rapid pace and when you aren't playing you just kinda get lost in the mayhem.

16 bit platformers are god tier good.

Like seriously Mario 64 and like Banjo Kazooie were pretty **** solid too but like after that I'm not so much diggin it.

They should seriously start making 2-d platformers again and just straight up sell them as legit games. And I'm not talking about this dumbed down Mario Bros. Wii bull**** that you can beat like every level within like 3 tries.

I'd gobble up new, challenging 2-d platformers like it was my job.
