I like hip-hop but I vastly prefer the old stuff. Gimme some Coolio, mannnn

It's funny because I used to relentlessly despise rap, but some came on when I was at a party and double inebriated (all the way, across the sky). And I was just kinda standing there, sipping on my drink, and I got it. It was a very chill epiphany indeed.

Now I can enjoy most hip-hop well enough, but I still prefer the old stuff, esp when I'm entirely sober

I like some of the beats and backing tracks but it's often too simplistic and auto-tune wrecks it for me most of the time. Closest I come to actually thoroughly listening to it is Acid Jazz. Go check that out if you've got time.

Laundry there's TONS of hiphop out there without autotune. You just need to glance off the beaten path a bit, or, hell, even just go back like 5 years or so.
