Can confirm. We make fun of Americans for calling it soda.It is pop across Canada. Just saying.
Too many numbers. Gimme a ballpark so I can keep a little bit of mystery in my day."It's 10 this morning, high of 14 at noon, low of 8 tonight."
It is pop across Canada. Just saying.
Double confirmed. (BC, Ontario and NS all verify, so it is LITERALLY across Canada.)Can confirm. We make fun of Americans for calling it soda.
Fahrenheit was created as this this:
Salt water freezes at 0
Human body temp is 100
But you're sick if you're temperature is 100. Normal is 97, isn't it?
*sigh* It almost seems like it's getting progressively arbitrary reading these posts.isn't it, like, 98.6?
Roundabout! What else could you call it?Soda is where it's at. Hispanics even agree.
Edit: what do you call the circle in the road that makes drivers drive around (counter clockwise if you drive on the right side of the road, probably clockwise if you drive on the left) so traffic flows better? Apparently roundabout isn't the standard term.
That really is the most ridiculous thing. It's like calling all condiments "Heinz ketchup."Customer: "Can I get a sprite with that?"
Me: "Sure, what size coke would you like?"
Well it actually has to do with how we ring up orders. That really is the most ridiculous thing. It's like calling all condiments "Heinz ketchup."
Have you ever called a tissue a kleenex? That really is the most ridiculous thing. It's like calling all condiments "Heinz ketchup."
Or Q-tip a cotton swab?Or a cotton swab a Q-tip?
Have you ever called a tissue a kleenex?
Sure. But it's not the same thing.Or a cotton swab a Q-tip?
... there are people who think this?!?mustard is not a type of ketchup.
hummusWhat sauce is high iq Tom?
No. At least I don't think so. Maybe some very young children somewhere.... there are people who think this?!?
Roundabout or Rotary, I've heard both. I think Rotary is the official term though.Soda is where it's at. Hispanics even agree.

Whoa. I had no idea Devil's Night was such a Michigan thing. Basically everyone in the mitten call's the night before Halloween Devil's Night, and then the rest of the country is just dark blue.
that thing pinpointed my location pretty spot on.
That one kinda blew me away too.Whoa. I had no idea Devil's Night was such a Michigan thing. Basically everyone in the mitten call's the night before Halloween Devil's Night, and then the rest of the country is just dark blue.
Very accurate for me.
Apparently "sneakers" talking about Gym shoes gave me away entirely as being from the North-east.

Would be interested to see where a Canadian/European/whatever else we have back here Dgamer would get placed on that map.
