I still am not liking how the person who takes the time to host a set-up, regardless of their skill, is discounted to some degree if people do take what you suggest into account.

They were the ones who put the effort to let others enjoy a game of mafia. I don't like them being discredited afterwards unless what they are suggesting is heavily against what people are suggesting, Chib in Dexter mafia as an extreme example.
