Edit: Blech my sig keeps popping up. If they don't want our sigs to be seen if our post isn't long enough, why don't they just code it into the css so it auto displays/hides it? Seriously its not that hard.

I believe Sudai can follow through with a ride to your place. You should know of all people how quick it is to get from my place from yours. It's about 15 minutes, tops.

But as an extra incentive for a ride, whoever picks me up gets to see me dressed to the nines. Coming from a debate tournament, I'll be decked out in a suit. A very seductive suit.

On a side note, I main Melee Yoshi.

5$ entry fee for singles
Registration from 12:30 PM to 1:45 pm.
Singles starts at 2 pm.

Doubles, Crews, or some other type of event to be decided on participation and equipment available.

Bring a Wii + Brawl copy and a TV. Last week, the melee smasher brought 8 TVs for a total of 11 TVs at the venue. We don't need quite that many, but we do need everyone to help out where they can. If you have Component cables for your Wii, be sure to bring those no matter what. They work well with the HD widescreen TV's at the venue.

For everyone who brings a complete set up, I will see about working out a food deal. Otherwise, don't expect the free lunch this time around. Hope for the best and know that I'm working for everyone's good.

KK, I'm bringing my wii + brawl, sadly no TV or component cables.

I'm also bringing my melee disc, sadly my memo-card got taken on accident by Cyphus last weekend so if someone has a Melee save file, they should bring it. : )

Kidding. It's a good thing you only need 1 memory card for Melee and you can load any number of set-ups with that one card. lol.

I remember one melee tourney we had in Louisiana...16 set-ups, one ****ing memory card. So amazing.

Hey fogo I really was wanting to buy a customized brawl controller for Christmas, so my mom said as long as its under like 25$ I can get it. I can donate a pretty broken down controller too (like the c stick doesn't work, I haven't used it in over like 2 yrs so I can't remember what else is wrong with it).

So what do you think? Is 25$ or so and a bunch of scrap parts worth a customized controller?

Heres what I'd like it to be:

Orange plug part that you plug into the port on the wii or gamecube.
White Cable with the length: 3m (about 10 ft.) (those 50% longer than usual ones. from white controllers)
Light blue bottom half (if you don't have anything like it is it possible for me to buy some spray paint and paint it myself and then give it to you?)
Silver top half (unless you can think of something better for top half, right now I don't have any specific ideas)

Is there such thing as a gold controller color top half frame? If so I think I'd go with gold rather than silver.

Thats it I suppose. Hmm... do you do engravings? and if so how much more would that cost? Also can you customize the keys, like different colored a buttons, b buttons, and such?

Also is there anyway to silence the R and L keys without hindering gameplay? When I brawl my controllers make ridiculously loud noises with R and L keys. If it wasn't for the loud noise I'd be allowed to actually play brawl when my mom's asleep, but nooo, it wakes her up. Plus its just flat out annoying.

In fact if theres anything else you can do to the controller let me know, cause I really want to make my controller amazing. I'm talking strictly cosmetic here though of course, none of that turbo macroing auto advanced technique cheating stuff (though I'm sure you don't do that stuff, just clarifying I'm not interested in it), just appearance.

Also, Foursaken, what can I do to get one of those sweet customized controller tags? and what can I do to make my own design for it to? Do I need to like send you a jpeg or something?


Honestly I can't think of a cooler christmas gift than a fully customized sweet lookin controller with "Ruddy" on it :D. Before I was planning on getting a Wii carrying bag for Christmas, but when I heard about and saw Fogo magicked controllers, I couldn't get it out of my head. (seriously the entire day I've been thinking about what I want it to look like :p)


Pfft normal kids would be getting casual games that let you experience the great technology of the wii and entertain you for atleast a week. Pfft, I'm getting a tricked out customized GC controller. It'll be the envy of all my friends. :D

firstly.... lol. when did fogo become such a controller specialist to be able to do all that. if you're trying to create the perfect controller, the best thing for you to do is model it after mine. not that it would be as perfectly worn in or the action on your wii stick as smooth (yes i use the wii joystick instead of the gc one because it forces me to play more accurate for melee, brawl people like it too although i don't know how much it affects anything in that game but dphat really liked it) . your controller would look nice though. sadly fogo doesn't have kidrobot magic.

but seriously fogo, do you have a nin10do screwdriver i can borrow. haha, don't you still have kidrobots. i can pick it up tomorrow and we can brizawl if you want.

You need a version of Print Master to be able to make stickers, Ruddy. I can hook you up with one of those, free of charge. Consider it my Christmas present to you and a thanks for hosting all those tournaments at your place.

All I need to know is what three colors you want.

Background, base, and trim.

(And don't say white or gold, they come out hideous, no matter how I use them).
