Well they are idiots since we are dealing with real numbers as the amount of alcohol being poured and we are assuming that each time the previous number is being halfed, this process will go on forever. The reason for this is because in the set of real numbers, there always exists a number between every two numbers. Ex. Between .0000004 and 0 is .0000002. 1/(1-1/2) = 1/(1/2) = 2
