Well they are idiots since we are dealing with real numbers as the amount of alcohol being poured and we are assuming that each time the previous number is being halfed, this process will go on forever. The reason for this is because in the set of real numbers, there always exists a number between every two numbers. Ex. Between .0000004 and 0 is .0000002. So the mathematicians would be doing this forever.

The bartender realizes that this can be related to the infinite geometric sum from 0 to infinity of (1/2)^n. When in this form, their convergence is 1/(1-r) where r = 1/2.

1/(1-1/2) = 1/(1/2) = 2

The bartender then prepared 2 beers for everyone to share =)

So I kinda mentioned about a "next time" to a few people, but my rather distracted mind failed to consider Oh Snap being the day after the Smashfest. So...

If I could possibly secure a ride to AND from DPhat's this Friday, I'll make an effort to bring controller and some sort of food item (hopefully in a large enough quantity) in a somewhat hopeful attempt to make up for last Friday. Although I sense I probably couldn't really make up for last Friday anyway.

If not, well, I wish everyone luck at Oh Snap.

This is just a last attempt to get a ride Friday. If I need to PM someone, well, I'm kinda clueless, but I guess trial-and-error never hurt.

Damien.. before you decide leaving... be warned that you may not have a place to crash friday night dude. Trust me i rather leave Friday but I'm not doing it since they just don't have enough housing.

Dallas smashers is like a big dysfunctional family. So as a family, I propose that us smashers have a thanksgiving party. i know that thanksgiving is a week away, however if your like me, your gonna wanna spend time with family and camp out on black friday. So how bout everyone brings snacks or drinks to share, or pay a 2 dollar venue fee. i will be making my famous bacon fried rice., regardless. Andy are you ok if you supply the rice and lil oil? Tell me what yall think. Plus we have out of towners coming we gotta show em a good time.

ps. anyone wanna camp out with me on black friday, im thinking frys. also we're going after dinner so we might be far into the line.
