Hydras are cheating is such a ****** stance to take honestly. When does having an extra cook in the kitchen ever ONLY help you? Never. I made a point of only hydraing with players I respect (Tom, Ronike, marshy, etc) and you know what happened? I ended up going against my gut following leads/opinions of theirs that I wasn't feeling. Because I respected their opinions. In Bioware Ronike got me hot and bothered for who ended up being the Town Cop when I was initially trying to say she was town, and before he stepped out of the game, was pushing me to shoot Chibo (we were vig), who I didn't shoot, and who ended up being town. Once Ronike stepped out and I took over on my own I shot a bad guy and led on to green pastures and all that.
If you think hydras are automatically better just because you get another opinion you are crazy, or you don't value your own insight and opinion, or something. While giving you a soundboard to plan with (the only role I played in KSSU, in which I didn't post once), it also results in exactly the problematic dichotomy I just explored. And discombobulation.
If you think they're better/easier/cheating because they can say "that was the other head", you are still ******** because that's been a 100% universal scumtell in my experience.
I love how Signups thread keeps turning into the mafia theory topic.
