A different style of Marth from what's been seen so far for sure. Especially the extensive use bair for spacing and edgeguarding. It seems like they aren't expecting it cause your not facing towards them like most Marths for edgeguarding... awesome.

I'm pretty sure it was just for show at 1:35, but against Ike you rarely need to go for the spike.. an extra fair will gimp.

2:45 was ridiculous.

Wow, amazing video. You play an AMAZING Marth. And yes, 2:45 was ridiculous. And yes, I did comment the video on Youtube as well. :)

Any chance you can give me some constructive advice on my Marth playing? You can find it in the thread "Need help with my Marth. Videos inside."

Directly above you tipping a dair.
That video clearly shows how marth is meant to be used. I bow to your greatness and ask to become your pupil. I'm no n00b but i have a ways to go to master marth. Please send me your brawl code so i can learn a thing or two.

Man, that video was entertaining to watch. I mean, you're kind of a risk-taker, which made this vid all the more entertaining to watch.

your marth doesnt afraid of anything. rly cool. quick question though, how do you approach an opponent spamming projectiles? I was getting a facefull of waddle doos earlier and i really had no idea how to close the gap between me and dedede without getting stomped

Some really good combos

I liked the video and the music of course..I tried to do one part of it then I realised the HUGE skill gap between you and me in Super Smash Bros Brawl..whoops..so Im just going to keep practicing, but this was very helpful though. thanks

Fair beats the waddledees but you have to watch for the spiky one.. air dodging right when you're gonna get hit works well (usually right after the jump). Watch for the grab.

almost everyone in this thread said:
CAOS can you have my babies/you're such a beast/can Chuck Norris even keep up with you?
Like Linguini said, it was a little sloppy in play so let's not put him on a throne, but the style was unique and there's things all Marth's could use in the video.

CAOS, just wondering as I know you didn't take much footage to make the vid... are you picking Delfino as a counter pick for Marth? A lot of scenes are from that stage, is that by random chance?

I say you just try to approach slowly and use d tilts, fairs, and his side b's, and just try to get a distants where he wont throw them anymore.
cause i play luckys dedede and it camps so much so im use to it
ill post some singles mathes of that. ^_^

I've seen a few vids from you - I think i remember diddy mostly from before US release (correct me if I'm wrong). As a fellow Marth I thought I saw some really good things overall but possible improvement areas. I LOVE the bair for spacing especially off the edge. I learned that from DannyKat a while back and haven't seen too many marths using that tech. Your dairing was very very solid throughout. Also, loved the risk taking, not always practical but hell I used to suicide a lot before I do an effective edgegame! (I like it)

One comment on playstyle - I've learned lately that double fairing leading into a dtilt is an effective strat that I saw under utilized in this video. I think that your combos could have all been extended with a bit of fthrows/dthrows or a little better tiltgame - However that is your style - I have nothing against it.

One comment on video editing - I have a huge amount of respect for Lucky so I feel kinda bad about feeling this way - but I think that there could have been improvement in the video by cutting down the length of each clip. I felt there was too much deadtime in between each combo - at some points it felt like the other character was more in control.

P.S. - I say it was a very entertaining video - got a tad long in the middle just due to long ish clips but I definetly recommend to others and I have already.

Wow - sorry for the wall of text! I hope that my critique was helpful and you'd be willing to do the same when I get a vid up - hopefully soon /crosses fingers!

Great Job Danimals on the marth and solid editing Lucky!

Very Impressive, especially the off the edge moments. Definitely going to try it out. Do you ever fall off when you do that kind of stuff (like 2:58 with fox), or do you usually find some way to recover?

CAOS, Do you have any tips for spiking because I have a very hard time doing it. I saw a few times that you run towards the edge then jump Bair (turning him around), jump again and Dair. How does that work for you and how often do you use it? Also, when you're on the edge (hanging on) I noticed you hopped backwards and dair-ed, does that automatically include the double jump in it?
