That's Yoktastic!
With the introduction of Spirits into Smash Ultimate, the odds of any video game character taking part have never been higher. While it's exciting to be assisted in battle by an unexpected Spirit, it's even more fun to claim that spirit through a themed challenge! Let's design our own Spirits in this thread.
HOW TO MAKE A SPIRIT
HOW TO MAKE A SPIRIT
- Pick a video game character. It doesn't matter where they're from, or even if they're already a participant in Smash, so long as their origin is video game related. You can even pick a Spirit that's already been confirmed if there are any blanks to fill or if you don't like the stats they have.
- Choose their class. Spirits can come in one of four classes: Novice, Advanced, Ace or Legend. Consider giving them a class that reflects their strength and importance in their own series.
- Decide whether they're a Primary or Support Spirit.
- If they're a Primary, choose their Core type: Attack, Grab, Shield or Balanced. You can also decide what, if anything, they become upon reaching max level.
- If they're a Support, give them a single attribute to bestow upon a fighter.
- Finally, set up a Spirit Battle or Challenge that must be beaten to unlock the Spirit. Technically this step is optional, as Spirits can be purchased with ingame currency. However, it's more fun to be creative with the unlock requirements.
