welcome to japanWhat'd you think of it? I just saw it and I found it disappointing. The premise and the beginning of the film set up for a better movie, but then it concentrated on something that should have been a side plot while the rest of the story should have explored more political and profound issues. Also I didn't like how we didn't found out nearly anything about the main character (I guess that's because of the "twist" at the end), but it makes it less enjoyable. Now, I want to say I still liked it, but wow, the first 10 minutes had me on the edge of my seat, and then it slowly became bogged down in it's simple story and slowly declined in value. It became boring actually to me, and I'm sad to say that. I wanted it to be amazing. That's just my opinion though, I read up that there's more movies made about the story I think and a manga was it? So maybe the original story was much better, who knows.
Good thing I'm so baller now that I make up for it, right?
