Okay, today's update showed us three things:
Munchlax deconfirmed as a playable character.
Munchlax confirmed as a Pokéball Pokémon.
Lip's Stick will return as an item.
I'm good, am I not?

well Lip's Stick is back: what does that mean for pro-Lip people?(i still think she'll be an AT but thats just me)
sucks for pro-Munchlax people though. i never really took them seriously that they really wanted Munchlax in but w/e. i'll be back to check if theres another double post (like Fri's triple post: that was cool. i dont think i commented them though, but i'll just say, cool. does the Wii have a music channel where u can put in a CD, download the songs in the Wii, and listen to them when u want, even during gameplay, like for the 360? cuz that would be awesome if i could play Brawl while listening to BYOB or something hahaha)

4th gen pokemon in general have been confirmed.. some folks did not think that they would be represented in Brawl for reasons like 'being to new' and whatnot.

That theory was already deconfirmed by a subtle little Drifloon in the Flying stage of Pokemon Stadium 2.

Lucario WILL happen. But after Lucario, we'll only have Pikachu, PT, Jiggs, and Mewtwo. No more Pokemon characters after that. Seven is seriously enough.
And as far as "If Munchlax eats a Pokeball is it considered cannibalism?" theories go, I think it will only count as cannibalism if you know for certain that there's another Munchlax in said Pokeball. Otherwise it's just like a lion eating a zebra.
And if there are two or more Munchlaxes on the field... will they fight to eat eachother!?

Ahaha, wow.
I guessed I worded that strangely.
What I meant is that Munchlax just doesn't have any unique appeal to me, it's just another baby form created for the sake of being cute and funny and stuff. Thus, cheap.
So this update pleases me, because, believe it or not, there was a rather high chance of him making it as a playable character. =o
And... let's just hope he doesn't eat Pokeballs.
The idea is... disturbing.

Actually PT counts as one rep still... may be another character but still is only one rep... so that leaves 2 or (Likely) 3 PKMN spaces left.

I'm hoping it's tradition. Jiggz is definitely one of the most unrecognized and underappreciated characters in the game. The more she's in, the more people will see that she can dominate.

...anyone have hopes for Luigi in Brawl? They better keep him. My friend said they're planning on getting rid of all clones but Luigi is certainly not a clone...although I think they're gonna tone him down a bit he really was a beast in SSBM.

Don't worry, he'll probably stay. Look forward to unlocking him, though. He's like Nintendo's little secret-that's-not-a-secret--we all know he's gonna return, and yet he doesn't show up on the DOJO and he's always hidden.
