I always thought "Meta" just sounded cool and might have been referring to something mechanical or something... Meta Ridley?

1. Just because he was updated, doesn't mean he will be playable from start. Sakurai hinted that there may be a reason why Meta Knight was so late to be updated...Awesome update, that means Meta knight will be playable at the start. It made sense since we have seen in so many pictures.
I think Icys will be the last spot in the Veteran section and Krystal will be the last spot in the Newcomer section. Why?
Excluding Ness and CF (Who will probably be secret again), the Melee 14 are there except Icys. Also, I think it's Krystal because everyone there has atleast two representatives from their series, excluding Yoshi.
Also, I'm just hoping for those two characters x.x
Well thought out, that makes the most sense regarding what were probably going to see in the future, sakurai seems to love suspense but he has proven to be unpredictable too, but you still make a good point.I really doubt it. I think Sakurai will want to get all of the 1st and 2nd party characters in first, starters and then maybe a handful of unlockable characters, and then when the days until launch are winding down we'll get Snake, Sonic, and whomever else made the cut. This way the 3rd Party companies can get their advertising in before launch and Sakurai can keep us on the edge of our seats. Then after release we'll get all the remaining secret characters.
Hey man glad to hear that i made you feel better.Thank you for that boost in confidence deebz435. That's the way I invision it, and I have a strong hunch (alongside that educated guess up there) that that specific way will most likely be the way the Smash pieces will fall into place.
Sonic 4 Brawl
And thanks again deebz435. Really. You made my night.
Meta Knight was Wednesday's update. Today is a double update: Mario's Special Move and Pokemon Stadium 2.sup, back for a quick visit:
wtf, there was no Wed update? well at least today was MetaKnight, but we all new he was gonna come by sooner or later, but i dont think Sakurai shoulve kept us waiting for that (or maybe only u guys since i havent used a CPU since Tues nite). w/e tho, its Sakurai, maybe he aims to piss us off then gives us a character thatll make posts in SWF that go OVER 9000!!! (heh, havent said that in a while). maybe someone like Sonic!!! nah jk maybe Lyn (or hopefully for me Ephraim XD) or CS Link XD. w/e Sakurai knows wut hes doing...most of the time hahahaha
oh n from my post a while back: SA2 is Sonic Adventure 2 Dyce (if no one told u that already) idve thought u would know since yer a Sonic fan...but anywayz:
i really hope SE wont end up like the SA2 effect. that would really blow. in reality, i really think that SE will have a single story, but with different point-of-views of the characters. im hoping for individual storylines still tho...
yay Meta's back in the Dojo!!!
CS Link 4 Brawl
Sonic 4 Brawl
Individual Subspace Emissary Story-Lines 4 Brawl

yea i know i got the dates wrong...n check my edit...Meta Knight was Wednesday's update. Today is a double update: Mario's Special Move and Pokemon Stadium 2.
How did his chances change?Yae, Lucario has better chances! Though not much better, but still HARD TO BEAT chances. I am satified!
That's why it's Pokémon Stadium "2" Fabian, not just "Pokémon Stadium".How did his chances change?
I'm actually not satisfied with the Stadium. The changes are too drastic for my tastes...
I love how a critical remark about "changes" instantly triggers the "SSBB = SSBM 2.0?!?!"-debate-mode in some people. That's why it's Pokémon Stadium "2" Fabian, not just "Pokémon Stadium".
Don't like change? Stick to Melee. The stage looks like fun, and not broken.
A) The general consensus (from what I've read) is that the Mario Tornado will be replacing his Drill Kick DAir--which would make sense.Okay, I really loved today's update, but there are two things I'm wondering:
A: If Mario's Down B is now Fludd, how on Earth can he do his Tornado Spin? Maybe with a Down Smash attack?
B: What will the Electric version of the Pokémon Stadium look like?
How did his chances change?

Didn't think they would change Mario, but it's not like anyone used his vB in Melee.
The changes are a bit "drastic", to use your phrasing. No longer are the changes merely cosmetic and/or aesthetic; the stage undergoes a series of kinetic changes, and that's a big deal. It still could prove interesting in play, but it's certainly a departure from its Melee counterpart.I love how a critical remark about "changes" instantly triggers the "SSBB = SSBM 2.0?!?!"-debate-mode in some people.
I meant changes as in "normal stage -> everything's slippery -> you can jump like you're on teh moon".
I don't like slippery ground. And the Flying-type stage evoked painful bunny hood memories.
I prefer it when just the layout changes.
<33333333333333333333333333333333333333333I bet they could make Toad Peach's f-tilt.
You know, so he isn't one of her b-moves anymore.
