Oho. Browser games. Now we're talking. This was actually pretty tough for me, mostly because of the fact that there's a lot of characters to be considered. However, I gathered that Newgrounds would be somewhere everyone would run to for inspiration, so I'm instead going to delve into a flagship series of another website out there.

Character Name: Runner
Character Origin: Run

Oh yeah, the protagonist of CoolMathGames' arguably flagship series has sprinted into contention! Having headed down the wrong space tunnel, she's ended up in the All-Star Strife - but will she be able to hold her own with the combined powers of cartography and aerobic workouts?

So, yes, she's an alien with the ability to... uhm... run. Endlessly. In a forward direction. However, I think there's a ton of potential for how we could explore the concepts and ideas seen in the Run titles.

Firstly, I think it'd be a good idea to make Runner a composite character. Alone, Runner could be quite fun to see, but given that all of the other aliens in the Run series are built on roughly similar physiology, Runner would be able to use the abilities of various different characters. Be it by having the Skater's skates as their sprinting animation or a spiking down-air, using the Child's balloon as an aerial bomb to be floated and then dropped on opponents, soaking them in water, or using the wings of the Angel to fly upwards as a recovery, there'd be plenty of potential in the wide array of aliens from throughout the series! That's not even getting into some more inventive ways to screw around with concepts - maybe the Lizard could breathe fire similar to Godzilla, for example.

Also, the gameplay of Run itself would be quite fun to play around with. I think it'd be fun if the Runner is a character that's very good as long as her feet are on the ground - but we wouldn't limit it to the floor. She'd have a mechanic allowing her to run along the ceilings or walls of areas for, well, as long as required! Sure, she's quite light, and standing still will make her fall off any surface she's managed to stick on, but implementing the gameplay of Run itself into this sort of title would make her a fun inclusion too.

And not only this, but there's some banging music to come with them, as well as lots of potential to implement the Tubes into a stage of some description... not to mention lots of potential for alts, perhaps with different costumes like the Pastafarian's colander or the Gentleman's top hat.

OH! (I am genuinely so sorry I didn't read that correctly)

In which case uhhh:

Item Name: Chronotron
Item Origin: Chronotron

This is probably a very, very weird pick, but hear me out. Chronotron teleports onto the stage, and then starts walking around. Not doing much, admittedly, but then he gets back into his time machine and vanishes. Now, what happens after this is quite interesting.

See, Chronotron appears. Again. And he does the exact same movements as he did originally, with a second, new Chronotron appearing that has a green arrow over it, indicating the "current" one. If you attack any of the previous Chronotrons, all of them violently explode similarly to a Bob-omb, but if you attack the newest one, it's added as part of that time loop. (Bear in mind, each loop only lasts like 5 seconds or so.) In theory, there could be infinite Chronotrons on stage, but interacting at all with any past Chronotron blows them all up.

I would want to see a new mode that it doesn't focus too much on fighting, but it would be minigame-esque mode that I submitted before.
I would want to see Tag mode, where you tag people like in Real life game. That would be so cool to be honest and I would want to see it.

Job 129: Zagreus Super Moves:

1. Hunting Blades. Using a duo boon from Ares and Artemis, Zagreus throws out large green Blade Rifts that move quickly and home in on nearby opponents, rapidly dealing damage (with only a small amount of damage per hit) once they touch someone. They only last for a short time, though.

2. Mort. Using the companion Mort, Zagreus summons Thanatos, who deals a large amount of damage in an area that's represented by a purple aura on the ground, which flares up a second or so before bursting upwards, to give people time to escape.

3. Sigil of the Dead. Using the Sigil of the Dead keepsake, Zagreus calls upon the aid of his father Hades, turning Zagreus invisible for a short time and boosting the strength of his attacks. Like in the games, if he uses it in a location where Hades is (such as his home stage or during the boss fight with Hades), Hades will make some remark about how he's standing right here.

For the first super move, I was tempted to use a duo boon from two of the gods who I hadn't represented in his moveset, like Demeter, Aphrodite, or Dionysus, but Hunting Blades is extremely useful in the game.

  • Breakdance - Unleashes a breakdance kick
  • Mega Mach - Runs into the opponent with lots of force and could push them off the stage
  • Buzzsaw - Charges forward with a pizza cutter buzzsaw and instantly one shots the opponent

Gonna do all jobs at once:

Zagreus Super Moves:
  • Artemis' Wraith: Zag calls Artemis and she summons a myriad of green arrows that homes the nearest opponents, each arrow has a possibility to do a critical hit.
  • Hades' Wraith: Zag calls his dad making him invisible for a brief time or until he attacks, the next attack Zagreus made would be a critical hit.
  • Zeus' Wraith: Zagreus calls his uncle Zeus who summons a thunderstorm in all the stage, it would be similar to Ness/Lucas Final Smash but without the ability to control the lightning attacks.

I don't have real ideas for what we could add, but in terms of DLC I would like between 6 and 8 new characters and each one with 2 stages (one of them, another one of other thing), I think it would be good and it would give more opportunities to add additional content.

Funnily enough, this was exactly what I have currently in my head regarding DLC, right down to the number of fighters.

Peppino Supers
  1. Knight Peppino: Peppino dons a suit of armor; This slows him down considerably, but makes him much stronger and heavier. The armor can absorb up to 20% before it breaks, reverting Peppino to his normal state.
  2. Ball Peppino: Curling up into a ball, Peppino rolls forward to rapidly damage opponents in his path before launching them forwards with the final hit.
  3. Buzzsaw: Peppino takes out a buzzsaw and dashes forwards. If he comes in contact with an opponent, he will slash them with the buzzsaw, dealing insane damage and knockback.

I personally don’t see the point since we already have a boss rush mode. Maybe a “super all star” mode of some kind?

    • We will likely be adopting a six-character DLC plan, with each character coming with two stages (one from the character's game/series, and one with relations to the game/series/developer). We won't begin nominating DLC fighters yet, but thank you for the input regarding them!

Please be careful when it comes to model swaps for Red - Costumes still need to fit the general shape of the fighter, and very few AB characters fit that mold to my knowledge. The Blues, Chuck, Bomb, and Matilda are inelgible by default due to their role in Red's moveset (colors referring to them are A-OK, though).

Mobile Companion Card: Minion Pig (Angry Birds)

The sworn enemies of the Angry Birds, the Bad Piggies will stop at nothing to get their hooves on some tasty eggs... even if the majority of them are pretty dimwitted.

As a Companion Card, a Minion Pig would build a structure not unlike those seen in the Angry Birds games. Once done, they sit themselves in the structure... and that's it. There's no way to make them go away, as they will act as a wall. However, like the structures on the Cobalt Plateaus stages, taking enough damage (either via direct attacks or through launching an opponent into them) will cause the structure to fall over, popping the pig and dealing catastrophic damage to anyone caught in the debris.

(As a side note, this wouldn't deconfirm Ross from Bad Piggies as a possible DLC character; He and this minion pig are different entities.)

I dont know too much about Mobile Games, but there is one I would like to see and is the Assassin from Soul Knight.

The Impostor, because why not?

I think a cool aspect to Among Us that we could represent here, as opposed to just focusing on the colours given to the characters, would be the various cosmetics available within the game. Thing is, y'all seem to know a lot more than me and the submissions up until now have been really based. So, I'm just going to make a single suggestion (feel free to disregard this if it's like not allowed.)

I think the Coral colour scheme should be one of the alts. This is due to its unique situation within Among Us as a whole. See, on April 20th, 2021, there was a 28-hour long vote that took place in the Innersloth Discord server, specifically as an extension of their promise of 6 new colours for the game. The alts in the specific vote were between either the Coral or another colour scheme, Olive - Coral, of course, was voted in.

Due to the unique nature in which Coral actually made it into the game, I think it'd be cool to see here even if only as a sort of nod to that event (as I imagine a game like this would be of interest to much of the people involved in that vote.)

Job #133: help i havent played shantae

Job #134: Okay let me take a crack at this

The Underground is interesting in that it's kind of representative of most of Undertale, so it'd be important to represent, well, most of Undertale. What this also means is that we'd need to ensure that there isn't too much Deltarune stuff here (to the point where I'd probably suggest, at most, one track.) The problem is, Undertale has too many good tracks. Damn it.

1. Snowdin Town Remix. I wanted to represent at least one location specifically as opposed to constantly representing bosses, and Snowdin felt like probably the most reasonable pick of the bunch. Thing is, the original didn't quite feel befitting of a fighting game, so I picked this remix based on one of Toby Fox's later arrangements for the 5th anniversary. It felt really fitting!
2. MEGALOVANIA. The funny is here. Admittedly, despite this being "the ahaha meme one" I think it's a pretty solid choice as fighting game music as is, not to mention that it's actually a fairly good representation of Toby's earlier work - namely the Halloween Hack for EarthBound. Hey, I love me a good callback. Sure, it might feel obvious to include, but that's why it's on the list.
3. Death by Glamour. This was actually my last choice, but I think it's a good one. Sure, there's meme potential and the like but I think Mettaton is a generally beloved character from the game, the musical track itself is generally really liked, and I'M BIASED TOWARD THE SEXY ROBOT MAN OKAY I'LL ADMIT IT. I came close to adding Amalgam in this spot, but I guess I would have been more likely to if like, maybe Madotsuki or someone similar was here? This felt more fitting somehow. Also yes, Mettaton is very cool.
4. Pacifist. Weird choice, but it's a composite of Hopes and Dreams, His Theme, SAVE the World and Last Goodbye. Not a remix, the original songs. I feel like the ending of the True Pacifist route is truly... an experience, and one I felt would be fun to represent (perhaps ironic, in a fighting game.) The name Pacifist comes from this in-game purpose.
5. Undertale Boss Medley. Perhaps an oddball pick, but I think this is a really fitting one. I wanted to include at least one medley to allow a lot of representation for characters I'd love to see represented here otherwise, and it'd be a good way to represent various bosses from the game that couldn't fit into this specific list. (Namely Amalgam but I couldn't really justify it, as much as I wanted to.) I did genuinely deliberate as to whether to include two remixes, but I felt I may as well.
6. Rude Buster. I actually really deliberated on whether to give Deltarune more than one track, because I knew if I was only giving it one, it'd have to be this. Essentially working as the battle theme for the game, it's a perfect encapsulation of the title as a whole, and whilst I genuinely considered a Deltarune medley or something of the like... well, the game's not finished, and as much as it would be cool to see a medley of parts 1 and 2, it didn't feel right.

This was... difficult. I personally love so many of Undertale's (and Deltarune's!) tracks and it was actually a little difficult to try and represent the game in something like this, but I hope I did a good job!

  • In his entrance he appears from a Pool of Styx.
  • In his first taunt he shows a random fish.
  • In his second taunt he will show a random boon.
  • In his third taunt the companion Battie will appear behind him and will spin around
  • In his first victory pose he will appear from a Pool of Styx like in his entrance, but this time in a more "victorious" pose.
  • In his second victory pose he will grab and show an artifact (Titan Blood, Darkness, Ambrosya or a Diamond).
  • In his third victory pose he will make some sicks moves using his weapons.

  1. A tiny tower appears, and crashes down to unveil Peppino inside, very angry.

Peppino taunts
  1. Peppino does an "OK sign"
  2. Peppino cheers; breathes in; and raises his hands up
  3. Peppino umpromptedly unleashes his inner rage/fear and screeches to the heavens like a banshee

I personally think the "taunt button" should be his nair

Peppino victories;
  1. Peppino grabs the camera, spins in the air and suplexes it. The camera then hits the ground, cracked and tilted, facing Peppino's feet
  2. Peppino arrives in his motorcycle at a Gnome house to deliver a pizza, two hairy arms come out, one pointing at a watch on the other, and flicks him away - the camera follows him as he bounces away uncontrollably, gaining a more and more deformed face. This never stops
  3. Peppino picks up a Cheeseslime, spins him around to turn him into a pizza, slams him inside a Pizza Box Goblin, steals a fork from a Forknight to stab the pizza, then slams it into the camera. After the cheese and sauce wipe off the screen, Peppino notices a blue and red flashing light and screams before running off in fear. A police car (labeled "Weenie Cop" in reference to McPig's previous game project) then appears, taking chase.
