Transformation is always required. You can't skip it. It's like going super saiyen. You can't just start super saiyen.

Everyone knows time stops while you're transforming anyway. We've all seen animu.

BB is fun, just needs to be balanced up the ***, and it will be. I mean come on, these are the same people who made GG.

It's actually pretty reasonably balanced, but only because a large chunk of the cast has OMG WTf gimmicks.

It's not the exact same team, first off. Second, they're starting from scratch. Have you ever seen/played the original GG? You want broken, go play that. GG#R wasn't that great, either. / was pretty good, but really boring/sol+ky=rapeomg. GGAC is a hella fun game, but even it has its issues from time to time. Blazblue really is well done for being the first entry into the series. I think some things will need to be addressed (Tager being AWESUM but getting ***** easy-mode by v-13 and kune, and being at disadvantage against most the cast, Carl's throw loop), but this is the first iteration, and is done pretty **** well.
