Well, if Mikezor has a jorb by now, then tiiiiight.

If not, there's these places offa Quebec + Leetsdale that go for 2bed/2bath for $695/mo

I'd really like that location, if possible.

I'd like to move out after my next paycheck.

I wish I still had my stick and sf4 so I could play it online with people during this storm.

Instead I will attempt to fix this crappy internet!

I decided I'd throw you all a proposition I was thinking about at school today.

Since my buddy who I usually visit in North Carolina is in Japan til late this year, my usual visit to AniMazement('s amazing game room), and yearly personal travel is now shot. I was considering a replacement con.

My friends did offer me to go with them to one called Anime Oasis. Outside of an actual Arcana Heart machine and DDR 4th or 5th Mix, I think I'd be extremely bored. I can't even confirm if SMASH is gonna be there, at the very least.

My proposition lies here: I was considering going to Anime Expo. I'm sure being one of the biggest in the country, there'll be an awesome game room. It'll be a trip to Cali, and I know that one BlazBlue Carl player lives in Cali. I wouldn't doubt there'll be plenty of other competition there too, like how the gamers go to the cons here to rep and rock faces. I wanted to see if anyone was interested in making this endevor.

I'm not 100% sure about rooms or travel. If, for some surprising reason, a lot of you wanna go then I'll probably look into rooming with you all. Otherwise, I'm gonna check with a few different people, see if they got room for me + a couple more if some others come. Also, I'll be flying unless, for some surprising reason again, a lot of you wanna go and it's people who I know won't back out (the track record is pretty bad for OOSing ;P.) Then it'll probably just be better/more awesome/cost-effective to car pool, despite me hating it so.

Lastly, if there's an OOS thing or tournament you think I should prefer to make it to (I know there was Final Round that one year) then suggest that. I just like to get out of the state once a year, and it'd be more awesome with pals.

Lemme know if you're interested or whatevs.

So Moblin took his whole "quitting" thing to PM, so no more drama on that here.

Anyway, this snowstorm has given me like 5 power surges in the past couple hours. I'm worried the power will go out soon. ):

I will now copy-paste the whooooooooooole conversation.

Or rather I would if I wasn't lazy. There was no drama anyway. He just said he was PMSing and then we started talking about Pokemon and snow days.

Well since I don't plan on restarting HG, if I get SS down the road, I'm going through the whole thing with a single Rattata.

That reminds me of the way to beat lv100 Palkia, Dialga, Mewtwo, Groudon, Kyogre and (Insert X Uber that doesn't have a priority move's name here) With a Level 1 Rattata. ^_^

EDit so I don't have to explain it later.
Rattata with focus sash
Endeavor first turn
Quick Attack next turn...Too funny

Also

Ubers - Pokémon too powerful for OU; a catch-all playing field. Anything goes as far as Pokémon allowed.

OU - Pokémon who are used frequently in battle. Since our focus is on battling COMPETITIVELY, one can safely assume that Pokémon used often in battle are stronger than most other Pokémon because the object of competitive play is ultimately victory in battle, which is achieved by using a "powerful" team.
USED OFTEN, STRONG

BL - These Pokémon are not seen as often as those in the OU tier, but are considered too powerful for UU play. These Pokémon ARE NOT considered any weaker than Pokémon in the OU tier.
USED OCCASIONALLY, STRONG

* The need for a BL tier may at first glance seem questionable. However, it is important to represent usage as well as power in the tiers. Those Pokémon in the OU tier serve as a threat list of sorts; they tell you what Pokémon to keep in mind and what one should aim to counter when building a team. This is highly useful for veteran players and invaluable knowledge for people new to competitive battling.

UU - Pokémon not used often, that are relatively weak.
USED RARELY, WEAK

NU - Pokemon considered essentially unusable.
NEVER USED, VERY WEAK

Guess where Rattata is?

It also doesn't work on Giratina.

Or sandstorm/hail, or any other priority attacks, or if rattata switch into any entry field effects, or if he gets statused, and I'm sure there are some other ways to get around it that I'm forgetting.

So not only is it as old as the sun, but it doesn't work on most anything under the sun.

Or anyone for that matter.

Everyone knows what you're gonna do when you switch in a Rattata.

Poor level 70 Carl. He thought he could get me with his silly Rhapsody of Memories + Spinning back and forth for cross-ups.

I grabbed that little boy! EMERALD! TAGER! BUSTER!!!!!

He then proceeded to **** me horribly. But it was a replay worth saving!

For meno, here's brawl- peach in a nutshell:

As far as tweaks go...
Misc:
-Peach now has two floats (need to put a space between them) instead of one. She regains her second float in the exact same ways she gets her first, with exception of water landing, which I decided to leave it so she only gets one float (to prevent water camping).
-Peach's fast walk (her skip) has hearts on her feet.
-Replaced down-taunt facing left with victory pose of her looking like she's praying or something (Win2). Both down-taunts use the "Peachy" sfx.

Specials:
-Neutral Special (Toad): Toad can be canceled (on hit) almost immediately into anything. Currently, it only works on the ground, but it will work in the air too.
-Side Special (Peach Bomber): Can be cancel after the initial pull back with anything but another special. This means it can either give a major momentum boost if used with a float or aerial, or jump/dodge canceled if you want. It can lead to some serious mindgames if you can master its physics, and makes her completely unpredictable.
-Down Special (Vegetable): No changes. Had a change early on to make it so she throws immediately (was a glitch, thought it was interesting), but I took it out because not I nor anyone else really liked it.
-Up Special (Parasol): Increased speed of opening the parasol, making it possible to juggle opponents with the parasol again. There should be reduced landing lag, but the frame speed modification I put on the landing lag didn't improve it enough, so I'll be making it even faster.

Aerial Attacks (almost all the same):
-Down Aerial: now has hearts attached to her kicks. Graphics aren't currently synced perfectly, which will be fixed. Also, will be interruptable after the third kick.
-Back Aerial: No changes currently, plan to reduce endlag slightly though.

Ground Attacks (ones that have changed):
-Forward Smash: Currently set to tilted up be a pan, tilted down be the racket, and no tilt be the club. Might change it so tilted down be the club, and no tilt be normal randomized, but with the Parasol included in the randomization. Also, increased knockback growth for all weapons by 6, I believe.
-Down Smash: Currently has a weak windbox on all 4 hits, no change to damage or KB. Going to be fixed so the windboxes work properly (suck people towards Peach), and remove the windbox on the last hit so it can knockback fairly well.
-Forward Tilt: Increase in knockback growth.

Grab Actions:
-Pummel: SFX of "hi!" is played every pummel.
-Forward Throw: Slow-mo while she "winds up", and sfx of "this is fun!" plays during windup. Increased knockback growth.
-Down Throw: Currently unchanged. Will be lowering the trajectory to prevent easier chain grabs against people who do not DI.

Things I still need to add to her:
-Up Throw: increase knockback growth very slightly.
-Down Smash: Make windboxes work correctly (stealing from Bowser's most likely), increase knockback growth on final hit.
-Back Aerial: Decrease endlag.
-Down Aerial: Make interruptable after 3rd hit.
-Misc: Correctly sync right-facing down-taunt, graphics on down aerial.

when does your XBL expire jamaal?

I wiped OU teams on smogon with Nidoking and shuckle.
It's expired. I made another account for the Free Month it recieves on Gold, originally for the Blur beta (which is tight, just not a lot of content to go back for, obviously.) So I decided to play BlazBlue; maining Tager and seconding Jin.

Yes I know its old but it still has some relevance. OU still is the standard for competitive. However many BL and UU can compete in OU. Besides having the element of surprise on their side many are only lower because of things like residual damage from entry hazards. Many also can counter OU. For example Porygon2 can counter Gyrados. It traces intimidate then scares it off with a x4 thunderbolt. Or Bulky Arcanine can counter Scizor. Lanturn can counter Starmie (except choice specs set) Quagsire is pretty good at switching in on Gyrados. Steelix makes the perfect wall to switch in against ChoiceBand Outrage Salamence. There are many lower tier pokemon that are pretty good but get ***** by stealthrock(Charizard, Yanmega, Scyther, ect) and some who are blessed with awesome stats(Flareon's Attack) But cursed with no Physical Stab moves.

lol Competitive Pokemon is possibly one of the most involved games. In addition to IVs, EVs, natures, egg moves and such. You have to know all the types, their resistances, weaknesses. And Pokemon and what movepools they are likely packing. Also Base Stats as well. Even more to it but the snow has made me lazy.

The only thing I don't like about Pokemon is the randomness of things like critical hits/flinching/accuracy of moves with under 100 accuracy/confusion/when you wake up from sleep/paralysis/etc.

A lot of freaking random in Pokemon. Otherwise the competitive aspect is pretty awesome.

Randomness in competitive games is like, my thing.

I play Dunsparce and Peach, lol.
