Brawl 4 corners tourney in Albuquerque, weekend of August 3-5, Colorado should A) look at this as a cheaper, closer alternative to WHOBO and B) come, because we have never, ever had a true 4 corners tourney!!!

I heard Delux is coming too. A friend of mine I battle online alot just happens to be carpooling with and convinced him to have some friendlies with me. Can't wait to get wrecked by a pro.

So I am finally in Colorado but I have absolutely no idea where the smash areas are or like if there is even a smash scene near me that is easy to get to....;_;

I live in Aurora now and can see Denver from where I am at (that is such a cool part of living here>Maryland) and I was wondering where/when the next couple of tournaments are?

I think we're hoping to have something this saturday for the Utah people, and then we have Zournament 3 down in the Springs on the 21st.
You ended up with mostly melee/P:M people it looks like, there's not really a whole lot of Brawl people in Denver/Aurora.
Luckily you should be pretty close to our usual venue.

Oh well, whatever is here I'd be more than happy to try and get involved into and the like. I'm probably going to go browse the tournament listing threads and see what I could possibly get to.

By the way, it really is gorgeous in CO. Though apparantly this state gets that type of compliment a lot.

Edit:

Just read the tournament info on that one tournament and it seems it's the same day I have an audition so I most likely won't be able to make that one. Then again the audition is at 11:30 and if I can get my CO license I could just drive myself to the audition and to the tourney. I guess I'll see what I can do about that one.

@J there's Fishbait and Rubio+Crew in Denver for Brawl, but that's about it. And Fishbait is coming to Boulder for school in the fall.
The Brawl scene seems like it's mostly split into North and South CO. There's me, DTL, SOAPy, Logo and some other people in Boulder and FoCo, and then Bees and Steam and people like that in the Springs and general area of the Springs.
I dunno where anyone else lives though.

Whatever happened to Meno moving to Boulder?

also @Sunny DeLux is coming and he's bringing like 7 other people from Kansas IIRC.

Well thanks for the player info on who is where in CO. I regret not getting into the MD/VA smash scene while I was there so I want to try and get involved more in this community. However, I guess I am just really looking forward to the Brawl 4 scene to come out in the next year or so but Brawl is where my heart lies.

Even though I'm just a standard Lucas and Peach main. ;P

He's fine; he's very far from the Waldo Canyon Fire.
