I absolutely LOVE MLP!! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! I watch every show right when it comes out. It is just a really well made series. The reason I think I like it so much is because it's just like Dora the Explorer and Caillou. They are all so amazing it's really hard to pick which would be the best

I have been saying something similar for a while. Partly why I left the CO smash thread here on smashboards. Any talk about smash and events and keeping our smash community alive and thriving was snuffed out by pages of ponies and pony related convo from people who, for the most part don't even live in Colorado.
What is said is true though. Like whenever a conversation comes up it usually plays out like this.

I don't hate someone who likes MLP. But generally if you are hanging around people who aren't fans of it, don't bring it into every topic of conversation you have or try to recruit everyone around you. There is a definite degree of health in online communities. That's why you have moderators, and anti-spam rules, etc etc. Depending on whether or not you want to accomplish anything with your online community - you have the super pristine Linkedin, to the wonderfully pointless 4chan.

But on a smash page, where you want to attract and retain interest in a competitive scene, it's really unfortunate we get things like Espy. Really uninteresting chatterboxes that just want in some discussion. Somewhere to post.

About nothing.

There's nothing inherently wrong with that, on a discussion forum after all. But when the scene is in such a weak position to begin with, trying to build up from nothing... it disinterests people. Pushes them away. Nothing to see here.

So gj quadrangle. You killed this thread. You can be all troll happy about that - the scene lives on elsewhere. But smashboards could have been a cool enough hub, had the weird unrelevant people not made this their blog space.

Really reminds me of the awkward elementary school times - those socially clueless kids who would aggressively barge their way into circles and cliques. They would firmly plant themselves at a table, YEA I'M ONE OF THE GUYS HAHA THAT'S SO FUNNY ME TOO. Eventually everyone would stop locating there. Find a new spot.

You can't pick up your tray and leave here. Yall are here forever. Ok. But this is where new people might have come to find about a cool CO scene.

But can you kinda back off a bit from this thread? We know you didn't start the fight, but little comments like "You can't stop me" is really coming off as harassment I know you probably here this ALOT but as a mod alot of people expect better from ya. Sorry if the blame is being put on ya'll, but this is the colorado thread, and your bothering alot of people that actually want to use this thread for CO business. People that have a beef with you can't block you, all we can really do is ask for you to back off a bit.
